Steve Smith is one of the best WRs I've ever seen. He didn't have the freakish athleticism of Moss, Calvin or Julio, he didn't have the speed and crisp route running combination that Odell has, but he had a heart bigger than any WR I've ever watched. His toughness and physicality on the field, the way he caught the ball in underneath the zones and constantly went at the opposing team's linebackers for 4 quarters every week is something we're not likely to see from any other WR his height. Ever since this matchup Ramsey has taken his game to a new level and that tells you a lot about both players.

The 1st 25yard gain in this video hes lined up on Smith but way too far off him so Smith just broke the route early and got 25yds. Thats bad D by Ramsey. And the next catch on Ramsey was on 3rd and 9 and Smith just bodied Ramsy and got position with not much resistance from Ramsey and picked up 11yds. And most important play of game on 4th down to end it Steve ends it with a 4th down reception to convert ..and Ramsey was nowhere to b found

welll to be fair the ravens were lining smith up everywhere trying to take advantage of their base defense that ran a lot of zone, they were purposely lining him up in the slot trying to get him vs linebackers

Jalen Ramsay is a very very good NFL cornerback. If he doesn't soil himself (or allow the Jaguars to soil him), he is going to be a perennial top-5 cornerback for the majority of his career.

As a lifelong Eagles fan, one of the most frustrating things we’ve ever had to endure were the never ending passes McNabb would throw at guys feet or just flat out skip in the dirt. I tally 1/1 for about 5 yards on a quick out for the purposes of this “matchup”. This was really Steve Smith making plays against the rest of the defense and Jalen Ramsey making plays against the rest of the offense. They didn’t really line up against each other, from what I could tell.

STEVE SMITH. 3plays later the game winning FG is kicked and BAL wins! Jalen claims hes the best, &he can be moved around and not limited to one side.
