No idea why ppl think Ramsey's only ok- several games Jalen has limited DHop well, even with Watson. Lots of good receivers in NFL- several teams have two, plus a good TE, There's maybe 5 elite corners in the pros, with the rules stacked against them, and a lot of teams are always searching for just ONE good CB

I’m not saying Dhop won or anything obviously Ramsey played extremely well. But that first pass wasn’t even a pass to Nuk. It was almost a perfect pass to Ramsey and Dhop had the presence of mind to go on the defensive and knock the ball away by reaching around Ramsey. So I’d say cudos to him for that play cause it was really well done.

I wasn’t dissing Ramsey at all I was just saying Dhop couldn’t have done anything other than what he did there so it wasn’t really the matchup against Dehop that Ramsey won in that case it was just his matchup “against” the quarterback

Very interesting match up for sure. The strength vs strength with two players with similar builds and playing styles was really something. I think the texan's coaching staff could have gone with putting Hopkins in the slot and forcing Ramsey to play off-coverage where he's not at his best. They did it a little bit and it worked but I wished they leaned into it more.

Commentators really called the incomplete pass at 5:07 an easy completion.... with the ball being thrown behind Hopkins... lmao

Based on the highlights, savage threw a good game. This was a pretty even fight. Both made good plays

Dhop back in the red and white and jalen back in the blue and yellow/gold.

bruh ramsey played hella good in this game. although savage was the qb ramsey still made plays on good passes. but geez hopkins and ramsey are so equally matched it's crazy. to me if hopkins has a good QB it's like a 50/50 shot on who wins this match up. i just can't believe how well ramsey covers one on one vs hopkins who 9 out of 10 times shreds the opposing corner in man to man defense.

Hopkins definitely won the matchup in my opinion. Most of the passes to him were either under thrown or over thrown, and Ramsey was being cocky the whole game thinking he was actually doing something but the Texans quarterback in this game was terrible. Ramsey doesn’t compare to Hopkins, Ramsey would take nothing but cheap shots this whole game and he would hit Hopkins as hard as he possibly could while Hopkins wasn’t even paying attention.
