Watt from 2012-2014 was just absurd. He had great years outside of that, but that stretch was pure dominance. Loved that I got to see him make that pick 6 in the playoff game.

First ballot hall of famer. Injuries took a lot from him, but at his peak when he was healthy, he has to be in the discussion of the top ten if not top five defenders to ever lace up cleats. In my time watching football, nobody has been able to take control of a game from the position like him. If his brother keeps it up though, he'll have some competition.

Probably the most dominant defense player in the last 20-30 years. The guy could just blow up an offense seemingly all by himself. I only wish he could've won a SB in his career. Not only was he a tremendous player but he seems like an even better human being.

Thank You JJ Watt I Wish You The Best In Your Future.
Onw of my TOP THREE ALL TIME FAVORITE PLAYERS to ever play. If he hadn't had so many injuries, there's ZERO DOUBT he'd have ATLEAST TWO MORE DPOY awards, probably 40-50 PLUS MORE SACKS. A MONSTER on the D-LINE. MATCHUP NIGHTMARE. Still a FIRST BALLOT HALL OF FAMER in my book. Would love to see him come back and coach somewhere, get his Lombardi trophy.
He has some of the best highlights I’ve ever seen
JJ Watt has been my favorite NFL players since I can even talk
The Thumbnail says it all. Fearce Bloody Pass Rusher ! 💪#Respect
What’s crazy is as a D linemen he was putting up more pass break ups than most DBs

One of the nicest guys off the field but transformed into a beast on the field. One of a kind
Before the start of JJs second nfl season, Wade Phillips who was the texans dc at the time did an interview with some of the local Houston media. in the interview he basically garentees that JJ was going to be a hall of famer. which at the time sounded like an extremely bold claim.
What an athlete
Jj watt aka beast
The man who made me a Houston Texans fan. Thanks JJ. Favorite player all time.
It upsets me he left with no Super Bowl. Obviously he doesn’t need one, he’s gonna be a hall of farmer and he is one of the best defensive players of all time. But he just deserves one
Gotta keep it 100. Saw this dude live in the Mercedes Benz stadium against the Falcons back in I think 2016 (edit excuse me it was 2015). Falcons beat the shit out of the Texans that day. With that being said, seeing JJ Watt perform live was a true honor and privilege. Dude is an unreal competitor. As big as he is, and he jumps off the snap quicker and more explosive than any other player on the entire field. Guy is the definition of dominant at his position. At one time I remember him being like #5 best player in the league ANY position because he was THAT impactful. We were all graced by this man's career.
We love jj in houston he was a top 3 all time player, and the crazy thing is despite how great of a player he was hes an even better man just a phenomenal guy
Greatest to ever do it. No one is even close.
Best defender I ever witnessed playing.
What I'd like to point out. After the sack: no taunting the quarterback, he always takes three steps away from the spot and celebrates. He let's his raw power and his hunger to get the sack speak for itself.
Thanks for the great football JJ. The guy could have been the mayor of Houston and no one would complain. Came out of Wisconsin and made Texas proud.
its crazy how dominant he was and its like we forget because of how good edge rushers have been in the last ten years but no one was more dominant from 2010 until present. he won like 3 DPOYs?! 20 sacks like twice or three times? Crazy good.
Monster Watt! Brasil here!!!
Those who are blessed with the most talent don't necessarily outperform everyone else. It's the people with follow-through who excel.
The noises he makes while charging is to remind him to drive his feet. this guy was awesome to watch!!! HOF
I have imagined being a quarterback and having J.J Watt lined across me. One word, terrifying. I am very sure many quarterbacks and offensive coordinator are sleeping better at night and not having nightmares about him.
Absolutely loved watching this guy play. I figure most quarterbacks see him in their nightmares. :)
man getting dimed up by JJ watt throwing it to you in the nosebleeds is something really special. what a guy on and off the field. that guy had his day made right there
wow....I didn't realize how much JJ tortured the Titans LOL
The best defensive player of my generation they will never be another JJ Watt robbed of his 2014 MVP the best player on the planet enjoy your retirement goat 🐐
Gonna miss him he was the beast since the beginning I remember in the 2011 wild where Watt got a pick six vs the Bengals and I knew he's gotta had a terrific career.
Much love from your old fan. I hope your ok wherever you are.
When JJ got the arm brace it was OVER❗️🤘🏼
Watt owned my Bengals, the Andy Dalton Bengals, in the playoffs. Great career. Ended too soon.
I've never seen a d line man who can defend the pass like him
JJ Watt was the best DE I ever saw. I appreciate all the years he gave us in a Texans uniform.
Lmao that bud light commercial at the beginning is freakin hilarious

The dude is the 2014 MVP, don't care about Rodgers having an above-average year for a QB, he changed the position. How many DE's put their hands up now, literally has a move named after him in the Watt Swatt. The MVP should just be the QB award at this point.
Imo top ten players who ever played the game He played like Lawrence Taylor and that says it all!!
Bro making a play without a helmet is crazy… but also leading with your head is absolutely insane
It was a privilege watching him play and it's highway robbery that he didn't get MVP in 2014.
