Steve’s take on this classic 70 year old song is EPIC. This tune has been evolving under Steve’s understanding of the blues and this may be the best take yet
The harmonica work in this song is good. I have played the harp since I was just a youngster. After about 50 years of playing it I can say that. Playing this particular instrument well is not easy. It also involves knowing when to stop in a particular song. That can be difficult. Because you want to wail. But that is not always a good thing. It is a backup instrument after all. Playing the harmonica on it's own however is quite rewarding. Then you can wail. And it is an expression of your mood. I always feel better after a session on the harp by itself. It is good therapy.
Saw him on my 65th birthday in Waikoloa. With Dave Mason and John Mayer....it was a fantastic party...if you keep on dancing you'll never get old...
Norton Buffalo, a killer on the harmonica. Maybe the best ever.
I was at this concert. Just lived down the road from pine knob. It was my very first concert. Steve gave my school some free lawn tickets.
Hey big sis little sis get a BMW M6 or M5
Steve Miller - underated Rock musician.
1977 saw Steve Miller but before Norton Buffalo was starter band when Steve Miller be came on stage everyone hollared Buffalo Buffalo San Diego back in the day USMC Camp Pendleton
Best version of this song, hands down! Steve Miller Band has got this one!
Listened to rock for 40 plus years. His voice is one of a kind, instantly recognizable.
It sucks to think that greatness like this is pretty much a lost art. Steve is the opitomy of cool and he doesn't even have to try!!!
Dad had A 39 mercury, that was one kick ass fine car. Suicide doors, huge car. Drove my sister and her wedding party, in style to her wedding!! Brilliant red, with wide white wall tires. Greeted by a piper playing Marries wedding,( my sisters name) Sadly that car was sold, still in the local area though.

Vastly underrated as a blues musician. He was doing it in the 60's.
I love Steve miller. I love this song. It takes me back to college days. My boyfriend had a Mercury. Steve Miller and I have the same birthday
I've loved Steve Miller for over 40 years. These killer tunes got me thru a lot of shit! Steve Miller goes on every road trip. Oh hell yeah!
Lord have mercy, this is HOT! The studio version is killer, but OMG, this is so hot.
I saw Steve when I was late teens and early 20s several times....
I saw Steve Miller in concert twice and in both concerts every single second of each show was enjoyable. The man knows how to put on a show. You never have to wait for the hit single they play on the radio because every single song was so commercial and you could rock out to each song. Plus he seems like a pretty smart and down to earth guy, not like some of these rockers who abuse themselves with excessive drugs and alcohol and end up dying young. I definitely look forward to seeing him perform live again because I know I would always enjoy myself at his shows from beginning to end.
Steve Miller is beyond cool!
