My Lord! This guitar solo sounds just like Jeff Beck!! Stellar performance!! Bravo Steve Miller.❤❤❤ and Norton on harp is amazing
Freakin' Steve Miller Band is really good, seen them a few times including the last tour before Norton passed. Man what a group of incredible musicians.
Oh Norton you are sooooo much missed.Best harp player in music history.Gone too soon.Rsp
Norton Buffalo whooooow
I was given tickets to see Norton at a grade school in Atascadero, Ca. There were less than 20 people and I was the only one who even knew who he was !!! Such a talent !!! RIP Norton.
This is absolutely awesome. Steve Miller with Norton Buffalo on mouth harp.
I think it was 1996 and I was able to go backstage after a Steve Miller Band Show and Norton Buffalo came out and I got to get his autograph on a shirt. I asked him about this song and why don't they ever play it anymore. He was surprised to hear about it and laughed saying how old I was making him feel haha.
The very best "Steve Miller Band" ever.....
Thank You
Sure miss Norton! Used to see him live at The Palms in Davis, CA, way back when, nothin' like it. RIP.
Goosebumps every time .
This track was included on the Steve Miller Band Live album on cassette, which was on heavy rotation in my car back in the day. It was one of my favorite songs on the album. Imagine my dismay when it was cut from all future releases. I'm so glad this is available on the internet, thanks for sharing!
Fantastic, I have known this performance since I was a boy. To see it live is just an absolute treat.
Oh my God This is Heaven
went to a lot of concerts at pine knob good memories
This was on the Steve Miller Live album and on cassette but sadly, it wasn't put on the cd version and have no idea why. This is one of the best tracks of the album.
Rip norton, you beautiful man.
He's the reason why I started playing the chromatic harmonica. Of course he wails on the diatonic to

Wonderful performance. Norton RIP. He didn't smoke cigarettes. Maybe there was something in the harmonicas he used that was toxic.

I agree about the performance. I'm sure playing in a lot of smokey clubs may have given him Lung Cancer.

IMHO...More likely all the second hand smoke in the clubs, bars and enclosed venues.
