I was born in 1972. I couldn't wait to watch the Carol Burnette Show. I loved it.

The dog food sketch with Tim Conway was Halarious I was laughing so hard I was crying.. Tim Conway was one of my favorite physical comedy guys.. He was brilliant..

I grew up watching the show, really miss seeing them, they were the best.

Of all the QnA segments I find this one the best. Her momentary drunk impression, tarzan yell, good questions, and then to top it all off Steve, Tim and Vicki coming to carry her off.

Always loved Carol and everyone on Carols show. Much Love and Laughs everyone 😅

Gorgeous dress, I've always loved Bob Mackie's designs, and his signature fragrance 'Mackie'

He was a comedic genius. Tim Conway is among that roster of comedians (I'm a guitarist and I know who the greats are like Hendrix, Clapton, Holdsworth, Montgomery, etc...) Tim Conway is in with Peter Sellers, Robin Williams and so on, he was unbelievable.

Steve Lawrence is one of the most talented singers who can play any act and best of all his voice is one of a kind like Frank Sinatra

LOVE Tim Conway. He is flipping hilarious

Honestly seeing this I can see why it would be apart of the last season, the writing's just a shadow of what it was before. BUT I mean come on, you can only do so much, and the fact the show is this quality even after 11 years of being on air is a testament to the sheer talent and chemistry this show's crew had. ❤️

We don't forget Carol and friends... 2022

They had him on regularly, so the cast and crew must have been fond of Steve. Understandable-- he could sing and also be funny in sketches, and do impressions of famous film actors.

@@eduardo_corrochio I always remember him from the episode where he was a P.I. and he was dictating the events of the night and then found out the machine wasn't turned on, and had to start all over again. This is the one where Carol Burnett was the femme fatal, and they both shot each other many many times, hilariously.

That plane one was great. They were great.

At 1:21 during Q&A a young lady wants to meet Bob Mackie so Carol brings him on stage. What a rare moment. Although, it got a wee bit creepy when the girl asked him if he got her fan letter, and he said he did, and then she said "Are you going to answer it?" 😆 Plus, I always wanted to know what the Family (Eunice, Ed and Mama) drank from those fake beer cans, and today I learned what it was because an audience member asked Carol. Made me very happy.

I was thinking the exact same thing. That girl was a bit too creepy, stalky, and desperate. Maybe she didn't know Bob was gay, but you still don't approach strangers like that. I felt awkward for him.

@@eduardo_corrochio I've never seen that movie, but I couldn't agree with you more. You could tell Bob couldn't get away from her fast enough. I think he handled it very well by telling her he writes back to all his fans. What else could he say in front of his boss, production company, and national television? That woman should've been escorted out of the studio, in my opinion. I like your profile name, by the way. I don't know if it's your real name, or if it was taken from a Seinfeld episode when Elaine made up an imaginary boyfriend. 😂

The outfit that Carol Burnett wore in the "Diner Skit" she wore that same ensemble with Maggie Smith in S8 E10 and the year was 1974.

I grew up on this kind of television o how do I miss the good ol days

You miss some very interesting stuff if you skip over Carol's Q&A sessions with her audience. But I can understand wanting to get right to the sketches sometimes.

It's obvious that Carol was correct. It was time to put the series to bed. The writers had no place else to go.

Not a full episode, why was Carol wearing the old coat at closing ? And Steve only appeared 1 time in the airplane skit, at least 10 minutes missing...

Why do they eliminate the last skit in some of the shows like this one?
