I was at this show!! And 13 yrs later I STILL remember how insane this drum solo is! So glad to be able to see it again!
There is no cooler drummer around today. Steve is undoubtably a master of his art
Amen. The man is off the hook. Get down. We have a winner here. He can chill and I know Charlie will smile.
Sweet Jesus, that is sublime!!!!!!!!
Wow, what a dynamic, what a style! Steve Jordan is a master!
Just a beast . I’ve followed him for awhile just incredible.
I absolutely love this. Go Steve
He defines solid...really smart and experienced man also, his interviews are always interesting. He has a ton of experience.
New Stones Drummer.... love Mr. Watts

If he does become a full time member (and I hope he does)the music of the stones will change (Taylor replacing Jones wood replacing Taylor and Darryl replacing Wyman and now Jordan replacing watts)
..... STEVE JORDAN IS THE MAN ....
Very well done with great dynamics, 👍.
That's a BAD man...what a funk machine!!
I would love to start a band with this man.
Best #SOLO E3ver!
Joya Joya éste muchacho.
Ridiculous feel!!🍻🍻
Real drummer. Better than a thousand bullshit chopmaster insta drummers. Fuck 'drum solos'. Ever hear one in a hit song? Steve is the real deal
Steve set to kick start Stones on an old/ new beautiful groove

Charlie watts is the coolest drummer Steve comes in 2nd. But hopefully he will be a full time member of the stones. Hell they already replaced a guitar player twice and a bass player once who knows the stones might even sound better
At a point in Steve's career he decided to abandon the wide vocabulary of rhythmic invention that involves drums other than the snare and kick, along with sophisticated polyrhythms, shifting time signatures and complex phrasing...all of which he did excellently, like no other and to high acclaim. After that point he decided to play pretty much nothing but groove, be it slow or fast, quiet or loud, but groove none the less. He's certainly a master at whatever he does and takes it to depths beyond most other drummers. However, I find it difficult to understand and appreciate the change in direction. To each his own and every artist has to follow their own path. For some of the best Steve Jordan, before he went "groove only", you must check out Steve Khan's 3 Eyewitness band albums: 1st: "Eyewitness",, 2nd: "Blades" and 3rd: "Casa Loco". If you haven't heard those...you haven't really heard Steve Jordan...you'll understand.

I think he realized how unsophisticated most ears are and decided to play for the masses.

Christ almighty this comes off as insanely pretentious. Giving off 'no one gets REAL art like I do' vibes
Groove monster.
Hand picked by Watts, anointed by the Winos, Keef approved. What more do we need?
omg!
Uber-Boss!!!
OK, now thats how you drive a solo
3:11. What . the . fuck. *bows down
Steve is THE master of the simple GROOVE, but here he shows us how to let rip on it.Charlie would be proud.
Charey needs you
joe sico, Id like to see a 9 year old use a single pedal like he does.

Yes, I could never do that. Even using a double-pedal, I wouldn't sound that good. But I like Alex Van Halen's drum sound: a combination of electric and acoustic drums.
serve charlie well...

Good one...I'd like to say Mr Roy Haynes fulfills that position for the time being ...but Steve's there too
he's doin fine, the Shows I've heard on the Net have been in the Ballpark, great choice Mr. Watts, and Keith, hê knew from the Beginning, I hate to say this, you had drummers who looked good on Paper and not good in the Trenches, RIP Mr. Watts, hê is Good Enough to replace Yã, jùs såyîn ¡😎🥚😎¡
4:12 what song?
Only drummer with deeper pocket is Steve Gadd, but it’s REALLY close.
Not a solo, but so cool.
He has Stam and en
Sorry stone's fans but speaking as a Drummer technique wise this guy is at another level to Charlie watts.

I like him. Seen him. But I do not like drum solos. Just not my thing.
The instinctive ring unequivocally undress because iris family fold during a good damage. noxious, whimsical target
Not the best jazz drummer of all time. That’s Elvin Jones, Art Blakey, Roy Haynes, Tony Williams, Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, Philly Joe, Danny gottlieb or Steve Gadd depending on whichever you just listened to last. Not the best rock drummer. That’s Bonham, Mitchell, Moon, Peart, Keltner, Watts or Copeland whichever you heard last. But he IS the BEST groove drummer of all time. Only Clyde Stubblefield gets close and I consider him more funk. And he crosses way over into rock. Best part of the late era Stones are the extended jams where Jordan sets a groove and Mick, Keef and Ronnie do their shaman thing and go into a trance state.
Have you received Jesus Christ as Lord and personal savior in your life? If you haven't received it yet, accept him now in your life as a personal and savior, pray this prayer for the Lord that comes from your heart. " Father I thank You that You love me so much, no matter what my past has been You have a future for me that is bright. I thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus and I desire to experience all that He gave His life for me to have. I choose now to turn from my own way, and I ask you to cleanse me of all unrighteousness. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to take my sin and rose from the dead that I may be forgiven. I declare that right now I am Your child and I am free to be who You created me to be and write my name in the book of life.In Jesus name I pray. Amen."
