@@alakazamlover4908I agree. Steve and Joe created an atmosphere that just felt very much like the real world, so that’s what I think made us all feel like “ok I’m here with this guy and this dog for real. Let’s play blues clues!” whereas Josh, and it’s not just just him it’s also the way the writers changed it too for some reason, he just feels like he’s forcing us to believe this illusion that we’re there with him and you just know you’re not. Even a kid could easily see that as well too. It’s so sad how tv has changed for the worse it seems, especially Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and Disney.

I used to watch Blues Clues at my grandparent's house, Sitting with my grandparents... eating my snacks. They passed away when I was still a child and over the years so many have followed and left me behind fairly early. I miss them, I miss my family more than words can explain. I've not felt that inner feeling of having old family near me in a long, long, long time and this took me back to the very heart of the family love for 2 minutes. Didn't even notice I was crying till the end. Thanks, Steve, this is a true gift.

I’m 25 years old and this brings a tear to my eye. Steve Burns is a gift to the world. If you didn’t grow up in the 90’s-early 2000’s, you don’t know how special it was to grow up with Blue’s Clues. That show defined a generation and a lot of us learned what we know from Steve. He was our first teacher, our first mentor, and most importantly, he was our first friend. Hearing him telling me he never forgot about me made me cry. All those skills he taught us while looking for clues helped us become who we are today and I couldn’t be more thankful for him. Thank you Steve for everything. We never forgot about you and we never will. ❤

So well said. And couldn't be more true! I cried because of this. I started to tear up and then I *bawled* uncontrollably. Like oh, no, it's coming down!! *wipes eyes* 😅 I had a very rough childhood and there were certain shows I watched to "escape reality". Blues Clues was one of them. I remember just feeling so calm and at peace when I watched Steve and Blue. I was so sad/mad when he just left and we never knew what happened! We never got closure!! But he came back, and he gave us that closure in the purest way he could. I'm so glad he did this. I'm so glad he didn't forget about us, and I'm glad there's many here that didn't forget about him. I needed this. I think we all did. Even if we didn't know it. Thank you, Steve. Thank you. ❤

The first time I watched it I figured it was because the message is sweet and the memories. This time I realized it's deeper. No one connected to my childhood has ever told me they are proud of me or that I look good right now or keep doing what I'm doing. It's crazy how this person who doesn't know me could trigger these inner traumas I didn't realize still exist. It's so important we encourage our children.
