She's empathetic, articulate and energetic, and reminds me very much of New Zealand's ex-Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern who became Labour leader 7 1/2 weeks before the 2017 NZ elections, and went on to win and then have a massive impact in NZ and overseas. i remember when i turned 18 i couldn’t get health insurance that i could not only not afford, even if i found something i could afford they wouldn’t cover my ovarian cyst problems. if you are diabetic, have cancer, any kind of medical conditions, minor or major, the insurance companies could refuse to cover the condition you needed insurance for!! EVERYTHING is at stake, not just now but always!! we must vote democrat all the way down the ballot in every state this election. EVERY election we have to be very careful who we elect FOREVER!! we have lost a lot of rights, on the brink of losing our entire democracy. the world is in fear because America matters that much - we have to do everything we can to vote for democracy this election (for starters)

I have some kind of health condition but doctors are uncertain as to what it is. Some say I have asthma and others say it is a lung disease. Luckily, or unluckily, I live in Japan where I can get very affordable treatment. The problem is that Japan is about 20 years behind the US in medicine. (They just a few years ago put out a notice not to over prescribe antibiotics, so some doctors here will only prescribe 3 days worth because they know you will have to come back and get more. Upside down world). At least I don't have to worry about doctors overcharging me or the insurance company refusing to pay because I may have a pre-exisisting condition.

So true. Self employed and buying my own health insurance for almost 20 years. I paid more but got less, had lifetime max and would have been kicked off for pre-existing conditions. With my Obamacare exchange policy everything is covered and being a leukemia survivor now, I don’t have to worry about caps, higher premiums or losing coverage. Thank goodness for Obama and the dems who made this possible.
