I’ve tried to explain this to people about Jordan. No one expected him to be THAT good. And Jordan revolutionized the game in a way that players are still trying to emulate him 30-40 years later, but they can’t. And Jordan’s career arc and story was incredible. Steph had a similarly incredible story. Jordan’s ability, influence, arc, and story are better than Steph’s, but Steph has a pretty damn good one. Steph truly revolutionized the game and there are a million imitators now, but he is the original. He’s better at his craft than anyone else has been. Forget the 3pt % or whatever, he’s a guy that is dangerous from anywhere past mid court. And the attention he garners from the defense alone is enough to tilt the game in his favor. Truly a revolutionary player.

They are all great players in their own right, but they know they are part of something that people will still be talking about in a 100 years, and they know that they can trust General Curry to help get them to a legacy that will last for centuries. There will never be stories coming out later of how he was an egomaniac, or mistreated his teammates. His team respects, loves him and protect him at all costs.

Guys 6'7, 6'8, 6'10 or taller jumping a couple of inches to physically place it in the basket I guess was flashy but not what I considered skilful. I was at that game 1 in SF for the 2022 finals, I’m a Celtics fan (obviously). That one game made me do something I should have never done. Count out steph curry, he once again proved why he is just simply the greatest PG of all time. The level he took it too, was something I’ve only seen steph, Bron, Kobe, Kyrie, Jimmy, and Dirk take it. To franchise changing players, players that single handedly take over entire postseasons. Steph is 100% the greatest PG of all time

This team has so many parallels to the Bulls Dynasty. I truly believe this team has what it takes to capture another title. This year will be the dubs toughest season to repeat as so many teams are getting better. This is the only core in the NBA that has achieved greatness multiple times. If they stay focused and stay healthy they’ll get that 5th ring this year along with Kerr coaching them into a more poised team come post season. 2023 is the year…if they get it this year…mark my words they will get 6. The 6th chip might be the most poetic because if they win the chip in 2023 a-lot of teams will be broken up in the offseason and alot of peices will be moved around while GSW will stay in tact. Let go Warriors lets make history !!

And you have to say he is ( the best shooter in the world cause no one has produced a better one that we know of). The one that might even be bouncing his little ball in mom and dad's driveway in the neighborhood right now but untill he grows up, shows up and puts up Steph is THE MAN and one good thing about it he AIN'T NO FAKE. I love the comment " he doesn't play for his team, his team plays for him " I can see that and they cheer for him like they are true fans like everybody else. They may be on the court with him but they are still just as astonished and wowed as the fans in the audience are just can't take too much time to celebrate. His name will always be included in the conversations of greatness and can we ask the question what will he do next ? Basketball or otherwise. Will he make me watch golf again 😊 too?

I’ll say this, his impact on the game is the type of impact Jordan had. No one expected him to be THIS good. No one could have predicted what he would accomplish. It’s sheer talent and work ethic. The guy believed in himself more than anyone else ever did. The numbers and rings speak for themselves. Here’s what we all thought of Steph coming into the league… too small, too frail, not fast enough, can’t play defense, won’t be able to create his own shot in the NBA, not a good enough passer to play PG, and only a couple years into the league he was already regarded as a broken player who would never be able to stay healthy. His ceiling was JJ Redick, his floor was Jimmer. But no one, and I mean no one, expected this guy to be such a tremendous shooter that he’d revolutionize basketball and create a million wannabes. No one thought this guy had the stones or ability to stretch defenses to 30ft+. No one anticipated that he’d work relentlessly on his ball-handling to where he’d be a dribbling maestro on the floor. No one expected that this guy might randomly pull from 35ft with confidence and success. Steph is a legend on par with the Magics, Birds, MJs. A guy who truly revolutionized the game of basketball. There will be many imitators but no one will touch his ability. There won’t be another Steph Curry. I say all this as a guy who thought of him the same as everyone else when he came into the league… undersized SG trying to play PG who can shoot, but won’t be a star in the NBA. He proved everybody wrong. No one expected him to be a guy who would change basketball forever.

His run at Davidson was all I needed to see to be a believer. The seminal moment from that run was when Kansas sold out their entire defense to stop him, I mean full court pressure, essentially a 5-0 perimeter defense, defensive bumping, hands clogging all types of passing lanes, and he STILL pulled up from 30 and banked it in all net. I knew then he was a generational talent and any team who took him would experience success.
