Hi KZread,
In this video I'm building a Kinetic F-18 Hornet VFC-12 Aggressor K48088. I will be using mainly Mr Hobby, Tamiya, VMS, Ammo by Mig and Abtielung 502 products.

I have not been paid by any of the companies mentioned to promote their products. All products have been paid for by me personally and promotion is for information purposes. However I am a hobby shop owner and I do sell most of the products mentioned to the public.
If you are down in the South West UK, you are always very welcome to come in and see me at the shop. scalemodelshed.co.uk/visit-us/
I hope you enjoy the video.
Happy modelling

    Between your builds, your explanations and your growing business I cant help but roar my approval. What a fantastic business model...showing everyone exactly how you use the products you carry. The fact that the builds and techniques are front and center makes it so much sweeter. I wish there was someone like you in Canada. I would have no problem supporting their efforts.

    Nice job looks stunning. never built a kinetic kit, I have heard mixed reviews. The shop looks awesome wish I had one near me like that!! All my favourite paints and kit brands in one place!

    ....the nose area is tricky ( as Andy mentioned), but the worst thing about the kit are the instructions (on my earlier release)....best to download a later version from scalemates. Otherwise it's a great kit.

    A miserable kit ? I've build the Monogram, Hasegawa, Hobbyboss and Kinetic Legacy Hornet. The Kinetic kit is by far the best out there at the moment. It needs a bit of TLC to put it together, but for me that's what modelling is all about.

    Beautiful work! I do wonder why drop tanks and weapons are weathered so heavily on aircraft. Those things are brand new when installed and are only used once, so they shouldn't weather at all. Or am I missing something?

  • @ScaleModelShed

    @ScaleModelShed

    Hi, i guess the main factor is how accessible the area is, sprue goo is self levelling as well, so makes clean up a little easier. Not great for filling larger gaps though as it tends to sink into them before it dries. A

    Great video, personally I find the music distracting and would be fine with just dead air if you’ve not got any actual modelling noise from what you’re doing. But that’s only a personal preference not a stylistic comment or critique 😺

    I just don't get modelers that wear gloves. I need to feel the kit. It seems whenever I've tried it I tend to drop parts and sometimes the kit more often. And grease from my hands doesn't really hinder the build. I have never had problems with finishes on a kit even though I don't wear gloves. So why?

  • @beano9343
    @beano9343Ай бұрын

    I laugh how everyone uses gloves cause you get less feel. But I see they are a benefit cause you don't get oil from your skin ruining a finish
