It's only been one month, but I can already tell I am healing. I had a shoulder labrum tear that had not been healing... just re-tearing every few days it seemed like. Within 10 days of taking the exosomes, the labrum is no longer tearing. Additionally, tendons all along my spine and shoulder girdles are healing! He is fine. He does bodybuilding, leg workouts and Muay Thai. So kicking extensively. He is all good and symptom free. The key here is the added BPM2 protein! Although it comes with risks! But living pain free is awesome! ADSC MSC you have to do every 3-4 years. You can do Platelet Rich Fibrin injections as a maintenance every 6 Months, as it is anabolic, anti-catabolic and decreases inflammation in the synovium and in the joint in general!

    I am a 66y/o Triple boarded Interventional Pain management Anesthesiologist that practices in my own independent clinic in the Kansas City area. I can tell you that the pain source not addressed by your surgery is the ligament instability of the joint and the nerves that supply that area. Knee pain is not just a simple joint cartilage that is worn out. Plenty of people walk around with "bone on bone" conditions and have no pain. I have addressed this in many of my patients with TKR's by doing PRP followed by 10% dextrose prolotherapy injections under ultrasound to the periarticular ligaments to cause the nerves to calm (they are living tissue too) and over time, tighten down and stabilize the joint.

  • @Candleflower42

    @Candleflower42

    Жыл бұрын

    @@paincare6577 it’s so interesting that you’d mention ligament instability because just earlier today I was wondering if it had something to do with not so much my knee, but the muscle issues I’ve had. I do have some joint hyper mobility, not to the extent of EDS but for instance I can touch my thumb to arm and easily touch floor with hand. I had this TKR only because I broke my femur and after it healed, could not come off of that leg after standing on it awhile without feeling much stiffness and muscle (or ligament?) pain in that leg. Doc looked at my knee x-rays from a couple years ago (I have had 6 previous knee ops decades ago) and the x-Ray did look very bad and he suggested I get it replaced to see if that helped this other pain as it “all works together.” It has helped that but the past 4 months I’ve had bad muscle spasms in quadriceps to the point almost fell several times. It’s no longer going into those bad spasms but does “catch” in various places and it seems to be when the leg is going into extension - it’s almost totally halted knee rehab other than I can do straight leg raises with weights. I was doing step ups until this started, so it hasn’t always been a problem, just past 4 months. I see the surgeon for one year visit next week so will tell him what you said. At 7 weeks had a manipulation under anesthesia for 70 degree flexion and although he barely had to push to undo scar tissue, my muscles were so painful afterwards, and black, I was 50 flexion by end of week. Worked so hard to get it back which I did, but dang, these muscles have been the bane of my recovery. Thanks so much for your reply! Oh, and my knee didn’t hurt all that much as one would think seeing x-Ray, so totally relate to your saying there can be bone on bone with no or in my case, little pain. This new knee as of now gives me more problems than the old one, but I’m hopeful in time I’ll be glad I did it.

    Stem cell therapy is awesome and this clip seems like more of an advertisement than a review. I know it's a short video, but I kind of expected that since you have "Is it Worth It?" in the title, that you would talk about costs ... or at least range of costs. Of course, affordability is relative, but if you'd have added maybe 2-3 minutes to your "Is It Worth It?" video some folks might conclude that they'll never be able to afford it. I remember watching a 2018 Joe Rogan episode that featured Mel Gibson talking about having taken his 92-year old father to Panama for stem cell therapy. It was "worth it" to Mel's dad. If I was more financially "healed", I would have started stem cell therapy 20+ years ago. I'm only pushing 77-years old and suffering pain in every degenerating joint. It's "worth it" for me to learn about the benefits of this therapy because it makes me happy for those who've received it. It really does give me hope. I'll always have the hope ... just not the money.

    Clearly, it sounds like this is working for many people but isn't it accepted by the FDA? Mayo Clinic says "Only a few limited early studies have demonstrated improvement in new cartilage or bone formation needed to cure arthritis. Exactly how that cartilage regrowth occurs, or even how pain relief is achieved, is still unknown".

    Thanks for commenting! I agree that more research is needed. However, the truth is that the US is way behind the power curve when it comes to Stem Cell Therapy - there were crippling restrictions in place in the US for far too long that prevented the exact research that we need which is why other counties are so far ahead of us with regard to regenerative medicine.

    Stem cell therapy can be extremely helpful for tendon and ligament issues! However, the most important thing with a chronic problem like tendonitis is identifying and eliminating the cause would be essential. Physical medicine (with activity modification) is also highly effective for tendonitis - if you haven't already, I would strongly suggest seeking out a qualified rehab professional in your area.

    Sorry to hear that. Without knowing exactly what the issue is in your neck it's difficult to say. However, cervicogenic headaches very often have a structural (posture) component and a functional (mechanical) component. Stem cells are not the right tool for dealing with either of those. I would recommend seeing a qualified practitioner in your area who is expert in rehabilitation of the neck.

By the way, i had PRP for my TE, signififcant and it did zero improvemnet, 2 yrs later surgery 90% at 9 months out. Im curious because i wonder if stem cell, and PRP, would be a no brainer to add to shoulder surgery, and TE surgery which has proven to not be 100%. Thanks for asking, George! The cost of a knee treatment can vary depending on which clinic you go to, how many stem cells they use and the type of cells (method of harvest). At Dream Body Clinic - they clearly list all treatment costs on their website. The knee treatment includes 50 million allogenic mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) - derived from umbilical & placental tissues following a healthy, live birth. And because they come from umbilical & placental tissues there is zero risk of rejection because MSCs taken from these tissue have no host markers.

    Regenerative medicine is a relatively new field and I don't know that the "most effective" treatment has been established. Clinics in different parts of the world do things very differently - a treatment in the US or Canada looks nothing like a treatment in Mexico or Central America - in terms of the type of cells, the source of the cells and the cost. I recommend getting multiple opinions on your condition from several clinics. Ask what they can do for you and ask for references for other people that have had the same procedure.

From reading reading the article, the differentiation documented from the two are: 1) Proliferation Rate: UC- MSCs rate is faster than that of AM-USCs. 2) UC-MSCs undergo trilineage differentiation at a higher level compared to AM-MSCs 3) US-MSCs secrete higher levels & a wider range of paracrine factors (possibly making it able to treat other diseases). It was a bit over my head, but if I'm understanding any of it at all, it appears Umbilical stem cells are the better option of the two?

    The way you describe the procedure (IV), does that mean that one treatment may address many issues at once? This is a really good question! The answer is yes and no. An IV treatment will go systemic and affect the entire body. However, synovial joints don't have much of a blood supply (in adults) and so, getting the best results in the tissues inside of a joint requires direct injection.
