    I tried these back flexion exercises and ended up unable to walk. The specialist said itwas the opposite to what I should be doing as my back is damaged in such a way that any mobility makes it much worse. I must say I am confused.

    What was the strength of the MRI magnet in the pre and post? The post looks sharper like it was a 3T magnet while the pre looked a little more grainy (1.5 T). Just trying to compare apples to apples! Thanks

    Both MRIs were taken using the same machine - it's 1.5 T. Some slices in both studies were sharper than others. Perhaps I moved a little.

Heel raise 30-60 seconds. (Up & down or hold) rest equal amount of time. Make it harder by dipping heels off the edge. Do it single leg heel raise. Rest. Opposite side. Hip flex/ Leg raise, knee to chest. Harder-Apply downward pressure on hand. Opposite side. Rest. Leg raise out to the side (adductors). Rest. THANK YOU!!

What changes do you make to your training when targeting postural versus phasic muscles? 3. Have you found vertical pulling movements to be the most effective way to target the muscles of the postural uprighting system?

    Dr. Thank you. This is so awesome. I am on my way. Question. Your example of having them walk backwards: Do you have them do this right when they experience the pain? My pain is sciatica when I stand up and walk. Comes and goes. So when the pain comes, do I immediately walk backwards (it still hurts while doing that) -- and for how long? Is it walk backwards for 15 seconds and then do it again throughout the day as pain comes. And how does this mesh up with Ellie's suggestion to do something that's pleasing to you. (assuming walking backwards is not really pleasing.) Just different ways to rewire the brain? Thank you.

  • @painfixprotocol
    @painfixprotocol4 күн бұрын

    So glad you enjoyed it, Mark! Backward walking is just one tool - it's not a universal rule. What's most important is identifying specific positions/movements where an individual's pain is reduced significantly (or better yet, gone). Exactly in line with what Ellie is saying & super effective for re-wiring the brain.

    Primus Trail Knit FG would probably be more comfortable than this version of Primus Trail.

  • @painfixprotocol
    @painfixprotocol6 күн бұрын

    It's possible. However, my concerns with the Primus Trail center mainly around them being so much heavier than the Xeros and the super uncomfortable, rigid lace anchor that Vivo chose. Unfortunately, the knit version has both of those features. I hope they fix those issues with the Primus Trail 4.

    Never heard of most of the things you mention . But I did come across an effective supplement for joint pain. An arthritis doc in Bethesda Maryland discovered a gene in mice that did not get arthritis . He managed to isolate the gene and developed a cetylated fatty acid form of it (CFA or CMO). I started taking this supplement with the mineral Boron and can walk without pain now either from knee trouble or the joint issues with my neck and back related to a whiplash . It not only reduces inflammation but together with Boron is very effective in relieving chronic joint pain.
