Aww what a sweetheart! You guys are such amazing, loving parents...and D talking about Stella...ugh...its so hard to see them wheel your baby back...I got anxious and choked up when they wheeled her away haha! You just wanna crawl up there with them and never let them go! My husband had that same surgery when he was little. He has great vision now and no longer cross eyed! She is gonna do great! God bless! I have also had a doughter 3 years old now and she will go for this surgery on may 17th, i fell very anxious she is my everything i am realy worried for full body anesteshia i found the best title doc. Prof. İn turkey i hope everything goes well and my little baby get over this.

Awe that beautiful angel baby God bless her and the both of you for being such amazing parents. I had to go through my baby having two surgeries when she was a bit younger than Stella and it near tore my heart out. But I was able to carry her to the operating room and stayed with her until they put her to sleep. I didn’t want to leave and started to cry asking if I could please stay lol I was saying I’d stay over in the corner and won’t say a word etc etc haha it’s awful I had two nurses walk me out because I was just a complete mess I think the hardest thing was being in there holding her as they put her to sleep aghhh but I was thankful to be able to do that. It made it a lot easier on her. God bless and hope all works out 💜🙏🤗💜🙏🤗

Just went through this with my youngest who is 4. Had strabismus correction today and so far she’s sleeping off the anesthesia. Can’t wait to see it after it heals ❤

i had a wondering eye surgery and when i woke up i was so emotional my mom video taped and it was funny watching it after lol Bless her soul she's so cute

I had mine when I was young and I can't wait to get my surgery and live normal👀🙏🏽

We are moving forward with the same procedure for my son. Anything to look out for? Did it help your child's eyes. My wife and I are so nervous.

My 2 year old just had strabismus surgery today and they gave us braces for his arms so that he doesn’t rub his eyes. How was your experience with your little one? Was it difficult to get her not to rub her eyes?

I’m so glad that you take your daughter to the hospital. You’re a good mom to be honest and I do have a lazy eyes. I don’t know how I was born in it or not.

I think it general you're born with it or it occurs in first months of lifeny squints were xausedvytoo much oxygen at birth I was older when I had mine back in early 1980s is it more long lasting the younger a child is or us it done younger to help tgem before school

Wow, my daughter just had this surgery today, and seeing another child go through it has helped my nerves I have been thinking did we make the right decision she seems so uncomfortable.

Also I was wondering if she ever needed a second surgery and how were her eyes during the recovery process? Like were they still crossed looking and then over time straightened? Also did she just have the crossed eyes? Because I know for my daughter she also has nystagmus

My daughter has nystagmus as well, we are about 3 weeks Post surgery and honestly I am noticing her eyes are drifting more and her eyes look a little off to me 😢 but I guess I’ll give it more time to see how they start doing

Hello how is Stella’s surgery?

My 6 year old just had this surgery a couple of days ago. His issue was his left eye would drift, so we decided on the surgery. He's now seeing double and he's cross eyed, which wasn't the issue before. I'm having immediate regrets over this surgery, but maybe I'm being impatient. I've heard that the issues I mentioned are resolved after a couple of weeks, but it pains me to see my child going through this.

I hope it gets better! My 3 year old is suppose to have the surgery in April but I am having second thoughts because I hear the eyes can get worse or go back to normal! I hear vision therapy can help correct eyes if it’s not too serious but insurance doesn’t cover it, I’m in a very hard place right now

@@lassondraarmstrong7316 thank you. My son's eye would drift, so for the majority of the time, you wouldn't be able to see it. It only happens when you surprise him or if you want to take pictures. From what I've heard, it gets more difficult as they get older. My son was supposed to get this surgery done when he was a baby but it kept getting postponed and in the end, we just stopped talking about it.

Wrong!!!

I just had this surgery 24 hours ago.. it feels like there is something in my eye. After another kid woke up from surgery, and I was going into surgery that kid was ScReAmInG… and they offer happy juice for after the surgery and once I woke up from my surgery it hurt but I was so calm, I just walked out if that hospital like nothing has happened like 1 hour ago, LMAO. I even went and got a soda. Lol. If your gonna get this surgery, then expect weird not necessarily bad pain but weird pain, WHAT A BRAVE BRAVE GIRL!! So proud of this sweetheart! 🥹💕

Didnt the doctor prescribe glasses before the surgery? My son has strabismus too, but doctor said he should wear glasses first and when he gets older he might get a surgery.
