She is adorable! I hope it all worked out ok. I am 76 and had both eyes done four days ago and can see perfectly straight. No double vision! I am so thrilled.

My 3 yr old is having this same surgery tomorrow Oct 6 2017, and i am freaking out im so scared, but im hoping everything goes well. Your video is really comforting!!

Larissa Cruz Thankyou ! Honestly , it's so much better getting it done when they're younger. She recently had a second surgery due to her turn being so severe and she is now 4.5 , she is a lot more aware and it wasn't as easy this time . Good luck I hope it goes perfectly for you, you're doing a great thing for them x

I remember when I was about 9 getting the surgery It helped a little bit I’m 16 now and getting the surgery again. My operation is tomorrow and I’m super nervous

I think i have the same situation like ur daughter I did a surgery in 20 September but my eye is still up a Lil bit even with glasses i have an appointment with my doctor in 31 October I really don't know if I'm gonna get another surgery to fix it I'm a Lil bit confused

Hi, Kristen Frost So a little update, my daughter's surgery went great and she seems to be fine a bit of pain after surgery but she's ok now. I do have a question for you, were your daughter's eyes crossed after the surgery? My poor baby has crossed eyes now and im really concerned about it, the doctor said it was going to be normal for the first week or so but from your experience, did the same thing happened to your daughter and if so how long till it goes away and till her eyes get aligned?

Larissa Cruz so glad it went well ! Does she need glasses to correct the turn ? My daughters eyes still turn without her glasses on even after two surgeries . It's hard to tell how they're going to align it's been 6 weeks and Lilly's stitches have only just dissolved.. it's true that you don't know how they'll look for Atleast a few months so try not to stress too much xx

KRISTEN FROST Thank you, i will try not to stress, and she doesn't need glasses at least they didn't tell me she did but she has a follow up appointment this Monday coming up so i guess they will let me know then about the glasses. All of this is a bit hard for me, i don't like seen my baby like this but at the end all of this will be worth it. You seem really strong. I really hope your daughter gets well soon and i also really hope she doesn't need another surgery. Thank you soo much for responding.

@@tjw3273 Hi, for my daughter one surgery was all she needed, but I have a niece who needed the surgery done twice. Both of them recovered fast. I just want to tell you not to stress or worry about this surgery its a very simple procedure and fast recovery! Good luck for your little one.

Johnny Ramos hello! Her surgery was done publicly through our hospital here in Adelaide . She was put on a waiting list and it was free, sorry I couldn't be more help

My baby girl had surgery 5 days ago same “double strabismus “ but we can’t see different in her eye and tmw we have appointment at her dr but idk I don’t feel comfortable about it . Any advice or its ok im breaking down 😥

Miwan Osman I totally understand how you’re feeling. Both surgeries there was only a small amount of the turn fixed. It’s completely normal for this to happen as they don’t want to over correct because that’s harder to fix. My daughter will probably need a third surgery in the future. Wishing you and your girl the best with her recovery and hoping for the best outcome x

KRISTEN FROST first of all thank you so much for answering I appreciate it ..well that’s what did her dr say he said it needs nearly 3 months to see the results and hoping for the best ,,, you know what concerns me that i live in iraq and honestly I don’t trust drs here so thats whats freaks me out , and idk what well happens next but I don’t think i can agree on other surgery if it doesn’t go wrong for here for sure ... I’m wondering if you do the third surgery how much precent it will correct her eyes ? And would be the last one ? Btw she is so gorgeous ❤️

It’s very hard making the decision for another one i wish there was an easier way. They aren’t too sure about how much it will be corrected but I am hoping for any amount as it is still noticeable with her glasses

Hunny Buns yes we got referred to the private hospital she sees an ophthalmologist aswell as a children's eye surgeon . She is doing well but the eye turn is still present when wearing glasses, will need another surgery I think
