It's so sad... it's even worse in SG 0 since kurisu actually got to finish her confession rendering okabe picking kurisu and not saving mayuri and letting mayuri die, but in the end he was still broken beyond repair from her death, and kurisu couldn't do anything about it, even though they loved eachother...

Yes, but she was also able to give her full confession to Alpha Okabe because of the text pausing her at a different time in that world line. Such a beautiful love story.

It really is but it lacks some suspence and excitement elements the og had. Though the ending is great. Zero is like many other anime. OG is in its own league.

This show is an absolute masterpiece.

Literally, unexpectedly the first anime that legit made me cry my eyes out, I couldn't even watch the episode 9 of 0 cuz of my eyes that hurt so much...

man i'd offer my life just to go back in that time where steins gate and 0 just started airing :) idk how many times i've rewatched this entire series already and the feelings are just the same. I just wanna experience it again without knowing where the story goes ♥ okabe 0 is the best ")

@@walterhartwellwhite8363the SG0 scene implies she didn’t get the text in the Beta timeline where Mayuri dies from a heart attack because she confessed before to okabe which causes him not to send the d-mail. This shows the text going through because of the events of SG0 which allows him to go back to the Alpha world line sacrificing kirusu instead of mayuri.

​@@walterhartwellwhite8363 the first dmail about kurisu death moved them from beta to alpha world line, thats because the dmail got saved into sern database and resulting in them knowing about okabe and co creating time machine so by pressing the button okabe erasing that one dmail, resulting in sern did not complete their time machine which is an important point of alpha world line, without sern completing time machine it send them into beta world line instead. kurisu confessing happened in sg 0, that makes okabe hesitated and not chose to press the button, and that was what kurisu want to prevent

@@jefalexander6027 whole thing is just a brain freeze I wouldnt think I would get a reply after 6 months. basically there was actually okabe interference him deleting d mail from sern database resulted in timeline change, alright.

Really hurts man.... Why I always cry on this, I wish there is a season dedicated to just these two in relationship and no time travel....

It's easier to sacrifice ourselves than the ones we love...

Is it bad that I really want to see more of their relationship after all this ends like after the movie how it goes (don't mention 0 it still broke my heart that that okabe failed and kirisu is really dead in that timeline)

sameee. I love this pair SO MUCH! I would honestly be over the mood if there was just a total slice of life season focused on them. No time travelling. No end of the world calamities. Just them, as is. I dont care that this is supposed to be a atime travel anime, i just wanna see my ship happen normally for once. After all theyve been though, they deserve it!

I rewatched this 8 times in a row.

You guys can't imagine how many tears i shed in these series. Through the years this anime will always be my number 1.

Huh, they ended on slightly different worldlines. SG EP23β is on 1.130205 and SG0 EP9 continues on 1.097302 This means that the continuing zero worldline is slightly further away from the first episode worldline than 23β

That scene daru mentioned that the alpha line where Okabe came back as dream, that time that scene where Okabe didn't press the enter button but to listen to Kurisu which is suddenly Mayuri got heart attack. Thar is start of being sad of okabe . 🥺 Even beta line where kurisu is gone and mayuri is alive, and alpha line where kurisu is alice but mayuri is gone. In which beta or alpha he is still sad though...

I know this has probably been commented before, but I have no clue why Kurisu would stop to check her mail and just enter regardless of anything, in my opinion it’s a little unnatural. Maybe she has a specific sound/vibration for mails from Okabe?

Yeah the chronological order is a bit confusing but steins gate is the original ending whereas steins gate 0 is a different world line but think of ep 24 -25 (steins;gate not steins;gate 0) as the last episodes of both world lines alpha and beta so in steins;gate ep 25 kirisu reunites with okabe after travelling to the past in ep 24 to alter his memory so that's the actual ending. However the ending in steins;gate 0 where he save suzuha and mayuri is not. To sum it up steins;gate 0 is the beta world line where kirisu dies but steins;gate is the alpha world line where she survives as well as mayuri because he got past the 1% divergence barrier.

SrAozoli Correct. The movie is not canon to the story of the original Visual Novel, but it happens at the end of the timeline. Still a great movie though! I am not actually sure if Season 1 Episode 24 (OVA) is considered canon either....

don't forget, the one from 0 is Okabe going back to his timelime (they showed that) which is Beta the other Okabe from from original S;G went to A to B in order to reach S;G

@@VipapkStudiosOfficial Thank you for your response. I don't know if I understood correctly, but please correct me. Okabe 0 (Beta) returned to its original beta timeline where Kurisu Makise is dead. Okabe (alpha or beta?) From the original S;G series moved from the alpha (Mayuri death) line to beta (Kurisu death) and then to Steins; Gate (all is alive)? So Okabe from the original S;G which timeline was it from? Unless I mixed up something.

@@farafin4970 I mean like Okabe from 0 who went to A when reading steiner kicked in went back to B in 0, back from where he kicked to A. That's the divergencr we saw in 0. As for Okabe from original, he also went from A to B but he was going to try to reach Steins;Gate a was a different as you can see. We see that divergence in the original.

@@farafin4970 if you want to know why the two numbers are different, why Okabe land in different worldlines, it is explained in SG0 ep 22. The Russian team succeeded in copying all Amadeus files from Brain Institute. That's the main difference between the two worldlines. The problem is that, in the anime, they put this weird story about Kurisu sending a message in order not to enter too quickly. But it does not make sense.

Charajeux the message is about kyouma's feelings for kurisu. In the earlier part of the Steins Gate series both the original and 0 shows how okabe is obsessed to kurisu. In short, it signifies that okabe should forget everything about her that will make him suffer in the other world line. Sorry for my bad english...
