Not for the multiple sacrifices from so many people in so many world lines, mind you. For an instance, there were at least 2 world lines where Shiina Mayuri went on board the time machine to give herself a call to have herself hit Okabe Rintarou back to his senses. You need to count all those people deciding to make what they have always wanted be taken away so he can save Shiina Mayuri. And then, there's the girl died twice in Zero world line to lead to Operation Skuld.

@@swayamprakashpani10froll-48 Well the future is from the present okabe so they all have related memories because they are never changed as a person they all seem to have memories of each other, so there isn't any worldline okabe because he is the only one with the power to acknowledge everything that occurs.

I’d rather ignore that much weaker series. Frankly the story works without it and in some ways is just plain better. Didn’t need anything ridiculous for Okabe to go down the road this show sets out. Surviving, struggling, and the creation of the time machine. And honestly it’s far better to have Mayuri snap Okabe out of it like she did in this episode without anything extra. His impact on her life was profound enough as it was. The concept of Zero was fine. But it wasn’t all that well done or necessary.

After Steins Gate 0 this makes a lot more sense..

This video message is made by Okarin in 2025 after which he disappears from 2025 through the time machine to save Suzuha and Mayuri. Daru made the video mail in 2036 so once it's made, the message reaches Okabe in 2011 through which he saves Kurisu, ultimately leading to both the future Okabe and the present Okabe to reach Steins Gate

​@@watchamigos1232yes, technically. 0 Okabe just ceases to exist, however. His memories don't get transferred. He did that on purpose so the okabe who didn't have to go through so many hardships would get to live the life he always wanted, while the version of him from beta gets forgotten. The entirety of steins;gate 0 is a tragedy, no matter which way you spin it and the okabe from there never got even a glimpse at a happy ending or steins;gate, but that's exactly why his sacrifice and desire to save kurisu is so meaningful and why I'm so glad we got to see it, as skyclad observers of their world :)

The revelation that his PERCEPTION of the past was what was important blew me away. Amazing piece of writing.

mhm, I've watched too many animes that I cant remember them all. But this scene is truly significant.

The part where he walks up and picks the camera still gives me goosebumps.

the visual novel was life-changing, and steins;gate 0 was euphoric steins;gate is the anime of that decade in my heart.

I can never forget these moments, IM NOT ALLOWED TO FORGET ONE OF THE MOST EPIC EPISODES OF MY LIFE

rewatching after S:G-0, the video he sends to the past had me a bit smiling more than i have initially, remembering the effort of making this video: rukako channeling the lights with a mirror, and feyris behind the camera recording from all sorts of angle 😂😂

It's brilliant that they made "El Psy Congroo" such a cringey, stupid phrase from the beginning of the game... but then somehow I swear, every time I hear Old Okabe say it before signing off, I get goosebumps.

This man brought me back to life. World is a disgusting and evil place, the harshness of real life, the responsibilities you have to do after you mature up, all of these shit slowly destroys your dreams about future. Everyone, including your family will tell you to grow up and stop your childish thoughts otherwise you will get hurt. I was lost, had no hope in life, was just going on with life like everyone else. When I was watching this, until here I hated Okabe. He always talked nonsense delusions, eve though he is bad at science as well. Everyone mocked him, no one cared about a thing he said. I want to say this to anything who got curious and read this comment until here, do not try to live by the rules of world, try to make the world around you follow your rules. Never care about what other people think about you, even your family. If you are able to think about some dreams, and if you really want to achieve it, believe yourself. Proudly tell everyone about your dream even if it is nonsense or impossible to other people, if you can think about it, then it is possible for you. Do not try to live a happy or wealthy life. Im not writing this for people who want to enjoy and live life with happiness and joy. If you believe your future self from your heart, your dream is waiting ahead, actually it is even not a dream anymore, because you know it will happen. Prove the world that they are wrong. I’ve been in this path for nearly for 4 years, and believe me, after 2 years you start to grow exponentially. Who am I? Just a guy that will build the best operating system and inventor of metal armor that lets you fly.
