@@jimmylives that’s what ya’d expect to think, however in reality they’re wearing flip flops for sure or some form of sandals. I was a operations manager for a scrap metal recycling company and one of our biggest buyers of meatballs (inner stator, rotor and windings of electrical motors) was India, our owner actually married a model from India and her family’s name held weight in power and industry. Anyway the owner my best friend and myself took a trip to India to see how they proceed material and those guys were cracking open electrical motor with a 5lbs mini sledge while hold the motor between their feet while wearing flip flops. You couldn’t even imagine how disgusting and filthy a scrap yard is either, it’s like the worst of the worst. Prob only cost em’ 1toe to learn how to swing a hammer

@@warewolf2304 I have first hand knowledge of these workshops and tool rooms. They wear shoes although of subpar quality but they do. Can't say same thing about scrapyard. They are filthy.

Indian people are by majority pretty smart, ya tend to see them in either tech or medical and often run there own business, which makes me wonder why their country in most parts is third world (for lack of a better word) and have very little infrastructure

Use a bigger bottom die. Your radius will still be the same, the press will just have an easier time squeezing it in there.

Terrible quality... Edges all bent up and gouged. No back stop on the press or measuring done. Just terrible.

You can see that they put the top die on a mark. It was pre-measured and marked.

The die is in offset position please make sure that the die set in 90' proportion to the punch

The blade is already bent. Putting it in 90° alignment would not make a difference! Still wouldn't make the quality of their work any better if the machine was brand new!

They are using the WRONG top die! Probably putting too much stress on the die and risking fracturing the material that they are bending. I'm just guessing but I think that the machine is running at over recommended capacity. Nothing dangerous going on here! Not one person is wearing safety glasses. OMG!

That guy with his hand on it the whole time has probably never heard a die shatter, or seen how far the shards shoot. Though I'm not familiar with the 3 way dies, maybe they break more consistently? I don't know, scarry stuff. I hated forming large sheets.
