Very good job but I think it should be a two person job, it's it seems to be a heavy part even if is 20 ga is too long you could got hurt be careful body

I have to say- that's a 1 person job if they're not expecting speed. I tell you this though,, getting that spot on was a hell of a job. -Setting each one of those wedges (possibly) to get the angle uniform down the line (within tolerance), getting those Back Stops dead equal, and the sum of bends together not being too short or long also varying if that sheet was cut or stamped correctly, ,Was a pain in the Ass!

If there are high surface finish requirements when edge bending/press brake, the Swedish product Tribotextil™ can be applied in the bending/pressing tool and mechanically protect the sheet metal from scratches and other damages. Tribotextil™ is an extremely thin and very strong textile that in this process replaces lubricants in the tool.

Thanks, I work mainly with stainless steel for building drainage. From small brackets and more complex components. That lasered blank after folding becomes part of channel which is joined to other channels, gullies or outlets.

Hi, to reset or enter the parts required or finished parts press stop. Then on the automatic mode page use the touch screen by pressing the box required and enter the numbers etc. I will upload a short video on this channel. Thanks for your interest

No way i would of eyeballed those last bends. Set the backguge to come up to flange just above the radius. Been bending architectural facias for years. Once you have your part dialed in you can use a tape or square off the front for quick reference also. Those flip flop panels are the worst.

Thanks for your comment. Yes I do programme and operate the press brake myself on up to 3M in length, sometimes longer. An experienced operator can easily feel if the metal hass correctly located on the back stops.

После китайского видео где на таком же станке выполняют работу 2 работника наши мастера и умельцы работающие по 1 человеку действительно кажутся роботами-универсалами:))) Хотя все же это и нарушение ТБ и возможные браки изделий... Но кому это важно:)?

Not familiar with Hardox but the data for bending a 500mm long 20mm thick stainless steel plate using a 160mm V is 500kN which is approx 50 tons according to the data available on my Amada Hfe M2 2204. Hope that's of use

  • @davidlarter8231

In an 8 hour shift it would be around 50 parts at 3M lengths. Luckily I have other duties in the workshop. Getting too old to perform heavy work like that all day, every day.
