How is sync achieved between downward movement of RAM and upward movement of robotic arm to support the part?

the computer for the arm i assume knows the exact clamping point and starts upward movement at the clamping point

That press takes up way too much space

a human can still do more faster that thing is slow. and what happens when the angle is off and now u got a bunch of scrap

I've seen a similar machine at their competitor's showroom. That one uses lasers to check angles.
