The work that's gone into this and the 208 is just exceptional. Asobo should be embarrassed by what they initially released, because this is what can be achieved if you put the effort, care, and attention to detail in. Great job.

The whole MSFS was designed from the beginning to have the good complex aircraft provided by third party developers. 95% of MSFS customers are casual gamers who don't even fly in 1st person in the cockpit but instead watch their aircraft from behind on the easiest difficulty level steering with a XBOX gamecontroller in 3rd person and have no idea how to operate the cockpit. This mass of people paid to provide us the platform and now we pay decent money for the really good individual aircraft that the mass of casual gamers will never buy.

@@berzerk1450 For $40 they should release a completely new aircraft like Milviz 310R with tabblet and everything or PMDG 737-600 not only copy and paste gauges. Improve the flight-model, adding opening/closing doors, etc because with this BS soon we will get "analog gauges" for every vanilla aircraft in MFS and it will cost you $40.

Look fantastic, but blimey, I could have walked to my destination before the checklists were done - you weren't kidding! I like a lot of switches to flick in my aircraft, but that one just looks like too much hard work :D I would really love to see persistence added like on the new C172 Enhancement from JF. It really makes a plane feel like it's your own :)

Wow, the only serious KA so far was X-Plane 11's KA 350 by Airfoil Labs. MSFS has neglected this great and classic aircraft for two years now! About time. Looks great. There isn't just PMDG out there and this is a great response to the still old X-Plane platform, even with X-Plane 12.....still with vey old graphics. Thanks guys.

This is exactly what had me interested in these products from the moment I heard about them. I'm so sick of all the eye-candy but no system depth. So many are upset about the doors not opening, and here I am just wishing for these smooth needle physics in all my other planes.

Really helpful vid but may I suggest you JustFlight to add a simplified schematic of the electrical circuit everytime you show tests of the electrical system to people like many of us who are not familiar with the plane, in order to understand what's going on? Regards

Great video. I bought the GTNx unit so I wish the video included that, but of course this is the authentic King Air. I haven't flown a King Air in decades and truthfully, there was little that I remembered about the engines, but it is not difficult to get the hang of it after only destroying the right engine, lacking good instructor! I didn't know you had to find a secret place in the radar console to remedy the situation, and I was wondering where to call the virtual mechanic/tech.

Out of curiosity, will the steam gauge cockpits also have some of the persistent aircraft state support that things like the Piper Arrows have? Got the Arrows to do a bunch of globe trotting, but I really wanted to do them on the Bonanza. Really hoping this series comes to the G36 :)

you said the circuit breakers are connected to the failure system, does this mean failures can happen randomly or happen when you’re not careful with the engine? and is there an autopilot in this?

There is a whole failure system you access on the Wx radar - so yes randoms, eng dmg etc.

Question, on the manual some of the checklist tell us to refer to the poh. Does the product bring the poh?

Love the detail on the inside of the craft, and I WILL BE BUYING THIS but do the doors open? That's a pretty sweet detail to a lot of simmers.

Not only that, so far the "outside preflight check" is always mimicked with the drone camera, it would be so cool if there was a native 1st person camera in MSFS that allowed you to get out of the chair as a person and walk through and out of the aircraft.

No the doors won't open, there is no change to the default aircraft model.

Looks fantastic! And they've added operating windows. Did the main door get the same treatment I hope?

windows and sun visors work but unfortunately not the main door.

Nice plane overall.Just the other day when I was going about starting on apron - had engines going generators on etc got TDS 750 gps going but then it’s screen went blank on me .Couldn’t work out why.Any thoughts on steps to stop this or possible cause anybody?

How did you turn on the radios? They seem to go on when you activate the avionics master, but when I do it, I see that indeed the gauges are activated, but the radios arent, they stay black (no fuse is popped). You turn on the avionics master and then what?

Any chance of an Air Ambulance cabin? In Australia they use King Airs as Air Ambulances.

Is there an FMS besides GTN or GNS?

During engine start, how do you get the "reverser not ready" light extinguished on the Annunciator, please? I have mine staring at me all through the process and possibly well after, I tend to disregard it after and can't tell when and precisely how it gets to go off.

Looks slick. 11:42 - Uhh the "Gyro Slave" indicator doesn't turn when you move in DG mode in the real airplane. It's just a little + - indicator telling you which way the flux valve is correcting the DG

Sounds like the correct operation to me: "This meter indicates the difference between the displayed compass heading and the magnetic heading. Right deflection indicates a clockwise error of the compass card." or did you mean that the needle moves to + or - instead of the scale?

I get excellent fps cause it’s not a glass cockpit. In VR it’s one of my best planes

Nice cockpit, but conflict with the Logitech/Saitek radio panel. When you change the frequency on the radio panel, the complete avionics shut down in the cockpit. I tried it with the cockpit in my community folder and without and the avionics crash occurs only with the cockpit in the community folder, not without. Please Justflight, check this !!!

Do the doors open finally?? That's a huge issue with the default model. How do you even get in the plane if you can't open the door? All AC addons have doors except the default ones.

@Godzilla Hårddisksson feels strange i'd have to explain to someone why people want immersive features. as mentioned in the OP, how does one even enter the plane if the doors don't open? The first step of flying is to perform the preflight walkaround. This includes opening the doors and windows if it's warm out. You also need open doors to let passengers in and out. having frozen doors and windows is an immersion killer. same thing if the interior lights don't work or the control services aren't animated. this is 2022 having working doors should be the bare minimum in immersive features. should also have an EFB but that's another thread....

Hoping someone can help me here. I've been flying the analog King Air, however, I cannot get the PMS50 GTN 750 to work, while it works fine in the Bonanza. Also, I am unable to get any of the autopilot function lights to show on the pedestal panel. SOLVED: Was a hidden bind on my honeycomb bravo, found the bind and all works as it should now.

I really dont understand this plane at all. I follow the checklists to the T but when i go to start up the engines as you do I get nothing. I then start just pressing random switches and eventually one engine to fires up but I'm unable to get the second. seemed to work when i switched to ground power but under those circumstances with the same exact configuration the other engine should fire up as well. Really love this modeling but with it being payware the checklists should be dead on accurate because this plane is already super involved and complex as is its real life counterpart I've read.

can there be a steam guage tbm next?

@@TobyMikeBravo I realize now I just have to hold it, also I "think" the diode that measures the voltage on the bat actually draws some voltage which is why you wouldn't want to leave it in the bat position.

How is the flight model? Any different?

If it's anything like their Caravan, it will be a pretty significant improvement from the default. It took them until the first update a week later to dial it in, but presumably they have that all sorted out by now with this delay.

I'm very curious about that too. I found this on the product page: "The Analog King Air features a slightly improved flight model compared to the default King Air 350i, with tweaks based on operator feedback online." Hopefully this actually means something because, even though I dont know how the real aircraft feels, the one in msfs feels pretty horrible on takeoffs and landing!

Having spent so much time on this incredible work, it would be nice to be able to open the doors as well…
