This is absolutely stunning work. Initially I was a little disappointed that this release was an overhaul to the default King Air rather than a wholly new King aircraft with reworked flight model but I can see now that the systems overhauled here are done so to a significant degree. Great video.

Looking forward to the aircraft a lot, but also really enjoying these videos in their own right. I'm not sure who does the narration, but I wish he did more tutorials! They're very good, concise, clear and informative

Really looking forward to this! I'm preparing my own custom livery and 3D printed King Air power, prop and condition levers to use with the Bravo Throttle quadrant! Finally some working windshield wipers! I was not expecting that to be a part of this package. The creator has gone above and beyond on making this addon something truly special!

I'm not signing in to MSFS 2020 until you release it now!!! I'm also holding my breath until it is released so my over all health is in your hands.

Thinking back to August 2020, when MSFS was released, I was on the one hand overwhelmed by the visuals, but also very disillusioned by many serious bugs and a complete lack of possibilities. Now the MSFS is maturing into something big under the hood as well.

I think it is. He’s the same guy from the Caravan video and it has Nick’s name on the GTN750 as he starts it up. I didn’t click for me until I saw his name pop up and tied it to his voice. Loved his flying videos, glad he’s apart of the community.

This plane is BEYOND dope.

There is a C90 on the marketplace and I was wondering if it would be too much of hassle to get a hold of it so that it could be revamped as well.

This is seriously amazing and I can't wait for this!

had a gear relay failure AND pitot blockage occur (pitot heat was on?) on the same flight. Awesome module, I'm gonna go throw hands at my virtual maintenance team now as soon as my virtual arm stops being sore from manually pumping the gear down 😆

If it's like the Caravan, only minor tweaks. But the King Air isn't that bad anymore tbh, after some of the fluid dynamics changed Asobo made.

May I ask if, by installing Black Square's Steam Gauge Overhaul I will be able to keep the original Asobo model with glass cockpit and have 2 different King Airs? Or can I "deactivate" the steam gauge model when I want to fly occasionally with the glass cockpit? Thank you and Cheers for your excellent review.

Yes that is confirmed. The analog version will exist as a separate aircraft so the original will still be there.

I cannot get the gear up on this plane, why? What am i doing wrong?!

There is a conflict between this analog cockpit and the Logitech radio panel. Avionics shut down completely when you change a frequency on the radio panel. It is then impossible to restart the avionics. This occurs only when the cockpit folder is present in the community folder. No crash when the folder is absent from the community folder. A quick fix from Justflight will be appreciated.

2 weeks ago we were told its coming in a week or two, not we are being told a week or two again, we were also told during a preview stream of the caravan that it was going to be a week or so into august, please clarify if its *actually* coming soon or not

It's coming soon. As the development phase on any add-on draws to a close there are lots of things that need to be done, lots of things that might require further work and the last thing we'll want to do is to release it when it's not finished. Ideally we give no indication of a release date but due to constantly being asked we try and offer some sort of ETA based on evidence and feeling at that time. It doesn't always go to plan. In this instance there have been requirements for additional work. It'll be worth it when it arrives, we're sure of that. Sorry if expectations were raised too early.

Thanks for that command. We'll release this as and when it's ready. We hope that will be in the next week or two. If that's not soon enough for you then by all means go and purchase X-Plane. X-Pane EA is out yep but it'll be months before it's a full release.

Hahahaha well its been 2 weeks. Now im really losing my interest. I just started real training so i will be away from msfs for a while. Did wish would come out before flight school started. Oh well
