Here's a technical overview video showing off another amazing aircraft from Black Square. This time it's the turn of the Baron, and in the video, Nick goes into deep detail covering many of the complex systems that you'll get chance to try and master when flying the Baron.
These new aircraft, the Baron and the already released Bonanza build upon Black Square’s existing technology to bring a complete interior and systems overhaul to the default MSFS aircraft, including the most advanced fuel-injected piston engine and turbocharger simulations to date. Both aircraft will include normally aspirated and turbocharged versions, both with and without tip tanks, and hot-swapping radios. The turbocharged version of the Analog Baron will also represent the 58P, or 'P-Baron' pressurised model. Black Square’s failure system will keep you on your toes and provide you with two more of the most complex and realistic light aircraft for MSFS, built to the exacting standards of real-world pilots.

It looks amazing! Any chance the BS team can work together with the JF team to further upgrade the arrows? I love their visuals, sounds and flight model, having such detailed systems with full failure modeling would make them absolutely fantastic! (Of course a similar treatment of the 146 or even F28 would be a dream…)
I’m loving the bonanza.. finally got me flying GA planes. Random issues happening and my confusion and frantic action to get the manual open really makes the immersion an experience.

Incredible! I love learning about all the new aspects of operating an aircraft that I didn't know of or consider before. Are any of the failures 'variable' in nature, such as a fuel leak possibly being fast or slow? Or are all fuel leaks created equally so to speak? The more variability the better, as a slow leak would be harder to spot than a fast one, for example.

I wish they would do one for the Bonanza V35B, I know they have one for the Bonanza already but the V-35B is an absolute iconic aircraft and I would buy it in an instant.

Oh boy, what a way to torment yourself! But can i configure things to have a perfect never-failing Baron P58 instead? And to think that i was being nostalgic about the glory days of GA back in the pre-GPS world when things were more complex & interesting. Hmm. Maybe i might have to rethink things! Maybe the old days weren't so golden after all...

Perfect. I have only one question. After starting the engine, I see that some fuses are closed (raised) on the fuse panel on the left, and some of the cabin lighting and right engine clocks do not work. I don't know if it's a known bug, but what's the solution? ( Mükemmel. Yalnız bir sorum olacak, Motor çalıştırma sonrasında solda sigorta panelinde bazı sigortaların kapandığını( kalktığını) görüyorum ve kabin aydınlatma ve sağ motor saatlerinden bazıları çalışmıyor. bilinen bir arızamıdır bilmiyorum ama çözümü nedir? )

It'll be a while yet. Black Square are working on getting their earlier offerings ready for submission first.
Looking good! Now, one thing that has a plagued Black Square aircraft since the implementation of the Working Title GNS avionics, which is the PMS50 GTN 750 compability. The dual-GPS combination currently in BKSQ aircraft, GTN750+GN430 has many issues that I've understood cannot really be fixed by anyone... so is there any work being done to giving us a GTN750+GTN650 option? I hate that such a small thing is enough to be a deal breaker to otherwise such a great looking aircraft, but that's just the way it is. I'm not playing around with broken avionics setups.
Wonderful improvements, love it! But I cannot click on the magnetos on the starter (greyed out), and can only start both engines together with the Honeycomb Alpha starter switch (in VR). So it doesn’t work as per proper checklist. How would I enable to use my mouse to start engines as you indicated?

Had to change my Honeycomb settings and now mouse works on starter. But I cannot start it regardless of following the checklist exactly. It just won’t turn over. I’m baffled.

Works wonderfully now! I reinstalled it. Issue with AddonLinker but it’s resolved.

Are the fuel selectors not going to be mappable to a switch with this just like the Bonanza?
Will your fokker 28 also have a failure system and a maintenance system?
Awesome job! Will you be updating it with operable doors, and exterior objects like wheel chocks, etc. ?

The doors can't be touched. That's a condition of working as a payware developer/publisher. It's simply not allowed currently.

Will this Analog Baron 58 also provide G1000 navigation system ?
" _requires the DELUXE or PREMIUM DELUXE version of MSFS to be installed_ " 😥 and there is me with my standard version of the license, who was waiting since the release of FS2020 for a standalone product like the one from Carenado in its time! Who will now want to develop a new Baron! Not much chance for that to happen!
