Back where I come from, we had both the steam locomotive and diesel engine pulling the passenger train. At a slow speed. Not as a garden train like this one, but real ones. TRUE STORY. That was right before I got into the fast ones like VIA Rail in Canada.

"Zerolene", LOL 🤣 - I wonder if any of the crews on the trains that pass behind your house realize what an awesome setup they are passing by.

Yep the train crews can see the garden railroad from the cab. They sometimes blow the horn when they see them. Thanks for watching!

Subscribing. My dad had trains. HO. When he passed I boxed everything up. Not sure what to do with them. But I find myself watching this kind of thing. Beautiful yard and layout.

Speaking of trains like this one, have you talked to your grandkids yet? About if they have a Playmobil or Lego Delorean from BTTF? If they want to re-enact the train scene from BTTF Part III?

This morning at home I gave myself a big tour of your garden for breakfast before I started editing the video Are your models metal or plastic models? And above all, how many meters of train track are we actually talking about here? The area around the house is super spacious.

I’m glad you enjoyed the ride around the garden with your breakfast. The locomotives and rolling stock are a combination of plastic and metal. This is a G gauge model railway with 270 feet or 90 yards of main line track. Thanks for riding along and please subscribe and visit again soon!

@@cbt1960 WOW! But such a long train route. By the way, the subscription is out and I'll definitely be there again next time. What do you say about my first attempt at the Lego train spiral?

@@GenialesTuning your Lego train spiral is awesome. The engineering that went into this is plus the amount of Lego blocks that it took to build it boggles my mind. Thanks for sharing and for subscribing. I also subscribe to your channel and look forward to your next build!

Are the track electrified or do the engines have their own power source?

  • @cbt1960

The locomotives are rechargeable battery powered and controlled with AirWire throttles. The sound cards are Soundtraxx. Brass track like I have in the garden would require a lot of cleaning for hour electrical contact. Stainless steel track is available but is more expensive and a little harder to bend. And it stays shiny and doesn’t look as good to me. Thanks for the question and for riding along with us!
