@@harryparsons2750 Its alerting any friendlies in the area about what kind of weapon you just deployed. Fox 2 is NATO code for heat seaking. Fox 3 is something like an AMRAAM (self guided). Fox 1 is pilot radar guided.

Thanks for including a nice buttery landing at the end as well; for everyone else in the airspace the landing gear is basically ballast that they should have jettisoned after takeoff, so it was good to see yours get some use.

The US would scramble a 4 ship of 22’s and 18’s likely. The F-35 just doesn’t do much for you besides being a mini AWACS. Honestly if we knew J20’s were inbound I think a Growler swarm that hides F22’s and F35’s is guaranteed.

It's scary to think just how far ahead of the field the F22 was when it first came out! It seems there's nothing to touch it after 15+ years in service. My favourite plane, it looks so sexy too!

No kidding. Becoming an ace in a single sortie, on top of downing 2 opposing fifth generation fighters and a billion dollar next gen stealth bomber.

its legitimately so freaky how a 22 literally flew under a flight of 4 planes with fairly modernish radars (im assuming) and was able to chill under them for roughly 30-40 seconds without them noticing

I, personally, would love watching more scenarios like this one vs other "stealth" aircraft. Great content!

This video should not be used to form any form of opinion. Values in the DCS mods are not in any relation to real performance characteristics of the stealth aircraft. As for that sneaking up on Badgers thing, yeah, no. The tailgunner would have shot him out of the sky at 2-3km.

One of the most impressive displays of air dominance I've ever seen. If I were Chinese I'd be dropping bricks right now.

This made me think back to that one video where you're flying level, look over to your left and there's a F-22 on your wing just sitting there.

I'd love to see a mission where advanced C&C is leveraged to have a pair of F-15EX's operate as FOX-3 missile trucks.

When you pulled up on that mixed flight of Flankers and Badgers the first time I'm surprised you didn't tell them to "go home" (bonus points to whoever gets the reference).

5:20 In 2013, an F-22 pilot did something fairly similar to an Iranian F-4.

What a chad move, checking out the loadout on the enemy bombers, deciding they aren't the primary target, and leaving, all without being noticed.

Imagine never knowing you were once stalked as prey, "forgiven", raptor goes ahead and makes minced meat of your buddies, gets back n kills you so fast you didn't know what happened,. Stealth is a very scary feature! To think the real thing prolly has something crazy we can't even fathom the magnitude of it's capabilities!

That was so cool how you snuck up to the formation, took some photos and "bugged out". "watch the birdy"

The 200 to 1 kill to death ratio in exercises is impressive but it really doesn't paint the picture like this does. "Winchester everything" is pretty much exactly the way they described it in that exercise.

When you can’t see an enemy who is shooting at you, you realize it is the air combat equivalent of guerrilla warfare. And with guided munitions, the shooter is a sniper. And just like a sniper, he can pin down an entire unit and is the scariest person on the battlefield.

It's like a cat toying with its prey. And to think this jet is getting retired relatively soon for something even better....

This video is the hardest flex of the F-22 I've ever watched.

Gotta love the premise of this mission. The H-20 carrying a nuclear weapon. Some high ranking general: let's scramble just one F-22.

Some aircraft (not sure if that includes the f22) have a "bugsplat" display which basically shows a weird shape around a top down view of the aircraft on the map, and an enemy inside the bugsplat can theoretically detect the aircraft. Its a weird shape instead of a circle because of the rcs of the aircraft varying at different angles of observation.
