The stench of decayed plant matter is the perfect compost material to give super powers to my plants. Worst superhero origin story ever.

You can use a silo to make fast decay food, just put food inside and when you pull the open lever the food will be decayed instant.

Idea for the liquid CO2 bit: The liquid is likely freezing because there is nothing to add extra energy to it to prevent the freezing (so as the gas part expands and leaks out, it's taking the energy with it making the remaining liquid colder). instead of using a liquid drain to add it to the room (where you're getting the freezing issues), have it get added to a section of pipe that is always flushed with air to prevent the freezing (so same style coding you had to do with your poo-water boiler for flushing it with warmer air, but swap the evaporator with a pump of some sort)

The freezing was because the pump was too fast. By slowing it down, the room air was enough to heat it and stop the freezing.

Fairly sure the liquid inlet keep exploding because there is no liquid volume between the inlet and the liquid volume pump and the CO2 needs to boil off to be released as gas. So when it surges to dump CO2 in the room after the pollutant is out of the tank, there is no room for the surge, so it pops the inlet. A pipe between the liquid volume pump and liquid inlet should solve the issue, but if you want to be a little extra careful, pop a pipe radiator on that single piece of pipe to boil the CO2 off faster, causing the inlet to expel it faster. Pretty sure the liquid inlet exploding counts as an explosion, so I'm sorry, but the button needs to be pressed or I'll have to report this to the higher ups.

Could the vent next to the gas sensor be sucking out the gas and therefore the sensor measures less CO2 making the pump let in more and then popping the drain?

With pumping the liquid CO2 in to your green house, try using a portable tank and connector as an evaporator, as it does not let liquid out the gas connector. 😀

Mick - another enjoyable episode and thank you for doing these sir. Also minor question. With the new phase change system is it possible to use it to get gas is hot enough to use in your furnace?

Water has the highest temp for phase change at about 350C so yes but for solder and not much else.

Can’t you just make the furnace box a vacuum rather than pressurising it?

furnaces radiate hard into vacuum, whereas they'll convect into an atmosphere until temps equalise and then stop losing heat. Same radiating heat loss happens when you try and weld a furnace into a block. All the old cheeses: gone. Gone........ ;-;
