Stationeers - Europa - Episode 13 - Temperature Problems

Ойындар

So after learning the basics back on the Moon, we travel to Europa. An icy wasteland with sub zero temperatures.
We know what we need to do. Build another station capable of sustaining our life. With as much Oxygen as we could ever want at our disposal, this should be pretty easy right?
Let's try not to die again....

To prevent overexposure from the growlight, just automate them. A daylight sensor to read the horizontal angle. (-180,0,180). A ic to program. The standard day is 20 minutes. The growlight is 80% luminous. Personally, I set the on time at greater than -45. This gives an oke lightning for most plants Edit: On the same ic you can automate the cooling. A one way valve on one side of the radiators and a volume pump on the other. Set the pump to a low setting. A gas sensor to record the temperature, to hot pump on. Hint, the jetpack works with all gasses. Nitrogen is a low resource on Europa. Fill the jetpack with oxygen, you have an atmosphere full of it.

Hey Pvstiphout, Thank you. I was trying to stay away from the automation of the grow light because I hope that with the crop mutations, I'll be able to get them to work with Europa's day/night cycle. Not sure if this is even possible but I'm going to try. As for the cooling setup, yep it's on my to do list. Thank you. Btw, what's your discord username? I want to contact you in the next week or so.

Wow! And here I thought I had a goldfish memory. *Hands goldfish memory trophy over to you.* 🤣 Forgets leaving the cooler on, forgets printers are printing, forgets having made glasses and the card which allow you to see pipe and cable networks, and so on. And all that rigmarole to fill a couple canisters. Would've been much simpler to just fill canisters with O2 from the room. (Jetpacks work with any gas.) O2 is quite abundant here as it's the entirety of Europa's atmosphere, which you're pumping into the base for cooling, and your plants are producing it. Also, why not go with the smart canisters? You have the materials to make them. They're twice the capacity! Using the regular canisters at this point is like opting to use small batteries in your suit rather than large ones. 😂 I suppose the stomach grumbling was interfering with the flow of neurons. One can't hear oneself think when their stomach is shouting, "Feed me!" Cheers!

If you want some cold CO2 really fast….make a room air seal it and use a manual hatch DO NOT depressurize it. Alow some of your co2 to dump into it (be carful of pressure). The CO2 will flash freeze into dry ice. Pick it up and drop in ur base. If the room gets above -60 just open the hatch and reool the room!

@@PanicAndDieGaming also if you want you can dump ur furnace waste gas and the cold room will auto filter the gasses into ice, CO2 freezes at -55 Pol -100ish
