Panic And Die Gaming

Welcome to Panic And Die Gaming.

A channel following a guy called Chewy playing games and dying... a lot.

I'll be playing various games ranging from a Casual Survival in space to having my face ripped off by zombies.

Come along and say hello. Heck, maybe even give me a tip or ten.

Who knows, maybe I'll even make some friends!

Thanks for watching!

make sure you have a cooling vent GFGs give off lots of heat

  • @charlesheath7571
    @charlesheath757111 сағат бұрын

The gfg can produce WAY more power, in the past it’s was like 70kW max, idk now. If you want more you will need to up the fuel pressure. With that a simple logic on the gas mixer making fuel you can easily keep that fuel line full of fuel like 20MPa. Remember auto ignition for h2o fuel is 300 deg C. Nos fuel is 50C. For cooling the gen room just send that gas to amto unless you wana keep it for your O2 supply. For the waste gas from The gen you can run that thru a stirring gen. It’s fueled from hot gas, Amy hot gas and it’s out put is relative to the temp gas in vs the environment (your on Europa…..) lastly make the gfg a back up gen, you already have code for bat charge ratio and I told how to jump networks…..

  • @pvstiphout

Nice, more power. Looking forward to this. 😅 Nice little build challenge for you. The gfg is the most powerful single generator in the game. More fuel = more power. However fuel use and power gain do not scale linear. Personally i run the gfg at around 15kW. Set the power generation display to mode 2. And where o where is your laptop?

three things one pipe bender prints chute faster, like the ele printer and cables. Two when r you going to make a deep drill/centrifuge (centis) set up? If you go with electric centis a ratio of 3 drills and 7 electric centis is a good ratio 2200 W cost. Three: I did in a test world on Europa for inf stable and constant power(no magic power bugs) main draw backs is it’s resource and space costly. To start the foundation you will need 1 APC w/ a lg battery 1lg active vent, passive vent, walls (a lot), any kind) and frames. And 8 turbine generators. Make a wind tunnel (DONT seal of the exit) of frame floors and walls place the turbine gens in the tunnel, wire em all up to charge the APC. Have the lg active vent suck in atmo in push it into the start of the wind tunnel. It will take some time but the turbines will make more than the 500W cost of the active vent. To expand just make the tunnel longer and add more turbines. As well you can have the tunnel wrap back on itself like a snake horizontally and/or vertically. The limit on size is up to the max a hvy cable holds. If you want to play with this idea do in a creative world first. As I said it’s a costly resource/space start but once you have the above base built all additions r free power Edit: id also recommended that the first 8 turbines should ONLY be used recharge the APC. Make it electrically separate

Using the batch name command in your code? Haven't seen you doing that before. 😂 Love the comment, it feels like a storm every 2 days. This game is so much fun. You will lose track of time. I feel your placement pain. Especially if you try to fit stuff in small places. Highly entertaining. 🤣 Are you reading from the printer if the lever is open? Or have you an other way of preventing ingot request., when open? Even if the code runs slower, that isn't a bad thing. Remember that the ingot have a travel time from the vending machine to the sorting point. And from there to the printer. If your code runs to fast you will get duplication. Where the next request is send, while the first ingot is still traveling.

This can make the code more clear. For the future problem of running out of CO2, you could grow mushrooms in a darkroom. Mushrooms take in water and O2, and produce CO2. This game does have a moment where something just kicks, and all starts to make sense. When that is, is different for everyone. Because stationeers has such a high learning curve, it is natural to think that solution will be difficult. Most of them aren't. There is a quote. All big problems are just a bunch of small problems in a row. Start with the one that will kill you first, and keep going.

For your cooking, what I did was instead of a back pressure reg I used a dig valve to a regular radiator outside and a turbo pump to empty the pipe ASAP, this system should drop the co2 temp about 1 deg/1-2 sec depending on mass. The way I understand cooling/heating is think of driving. If your car is 1k kg (mass or mol) and at 50kph(energy or temp) (these are random numbers) you may need like 100m (time) to stop.(brakes are Europa cold air) Vs 30k kg (mol) at 80kph (temp) will need like 1km to stop. Meaning the more mass/mol and or thermal energy a network has means the more stored Kentic energy you have to cool. Once your “supply” dig valve turns off at 35C what’s left in the pipe to cooling will go from Ie 2k mol total to like 2mol total thus cool SUPPER fast and freezing.

What I did for gas cooling on Europa was I ran a pipe network outside to 2 radiator networks. One dig valve opened at greater than 20C the other greater than 100C and a turbo volume pump to clear the line as fast as possible, and if ur pressure is above 3.5 MPa you will need condensation valves too.( Pol is liquid at 3.56 MPa and a great way to filter out too)

First save yourself a hassle convert all temps to C ie ll r0 sensor Temperature Sub r0 r0 273 think it would be easyer to cool and store the CO2 at 20, what I did was a dual cooling sys. 1 pipe network was set to 20+ the other 100+ with radiators outside. The main thing is if you do this idea you need to suck out all the gas ASAP!

  • @ioncloud6828

isn't the aircon waste the excess heat? In that case you would want to loop the input and output to gradually bring down the temp and vent the waste outside?

  • @pvstiphout

The atmospherics device has an inbuilt ic socket. So you could program it as standalone. Commands like Ratio(gas)Input or PressureOutput2 can be used. Also, two external devices can be controlled. The pressure of a gas is dependent on the volume of the container, the amount of gas (mole), and the temperature.

Wait a few secs then enjoy GOOD luck on Venus, personally I’ve never tryed. And soon I’ll try Vulcan. To give you an idea of how easyer Vulcan vs Venus. If only you had written that "s db Setting r0" in the line right after reading the pressure (which would've displayed a static pressure reading) you might have caught on that you were reading the wrong pipe analyzer sooner. 😉 A few other things worth mentioning are: to remove pin designations on an IC housing, deconstruct it with a hand drill and replace it. Your coding for the lights in your living quarters is off as your program is reading from the occupancy sensor still assigned to pin d3 despite you having re-aliased the sensor d0. It works only because the sensor is still set on pin d3. This is why it is better to use the string names aliased to pins or registries in your programming rather than the pin or registry, so when aliases are reassigned to different pins or registries the program remains unaffected (e.g. after moving a device from d2 to d3, you won't have to comb through your program searching for every line containing d2 to change to d3). Lastly, I've noticed you have often times been placing the yield before the start of your program loop; you want to place it after the start so your program yields before repeating the loop. Oh, and one way of removing the sleep cycle in your weather station programming would be to use a counter assigned to a registry that you can increment with each loop, and then play your sound alerts after X amount of loops. Cheers!
