Starving Tiger Mom Pulls Off EPIC Ambush to Feed Cubs | Love Nature

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

Mother tiger Rana and her young family live in Nagarhole National Park, in Southern India. Her plight is shared by many tigers in this part of India, caused largely by humans who have poached their prey and encroached on their habitat. Now, there are less than 2500 bengal tigers left. Rana isn't licked yet, and stumbles upon a clearing where plenty of prey reside. A lone Sambar deer heads to the woods alone, and Rana just may have a shot at him. She waits patiently in the bushes, and surprises the Sambar to his demise. Rana has succeeded, and calls her cubs to come feast. The tigers will eat for the next 4 days, and live to hunt another day.

Yeah, it's called journalistic freedom: aka, lying; or as we all know now. Fake News! I love the scenery, but I hate the false narratives that so many videographers (cut and pasters) use in their videos.

The deer that strayed into the forest and the deer that was taken down are two different deers... Thats how a lot of these so called nature videos are produced. They create a storyline and then take different cuts from their filming to match it.

Ultimate aggression; all for survival. Wonderfully captured! These are the moments that make jungle visits worthwhile. Charles Darwin was so right on survival of the fittest. Fights and attacks are for territories or for food. We spoke to a driver who told about his encounter with the legendary Matkasur of Tadoba that attacked him. Matkasur was apparently defending his cattle kill and was disturbed by the presence of humans. We were lucky to document this story for our KZread channel.

Tigers, the most beautiful cats of all the felines with the best characteristics. They always hunt alone (unlike Lions, who hunt in groups), n wait until the tigress & cubs have eaten (unlike Lions, who fight with each other n eat first), r very powerful & ferocious, yet not quarrelsome (when a tiger crosses another tiger, just passes-by without fighting generally, r very good swimmers (unlike Lions), can climb trees with effortless ease etc.

@pasmaya3130 we should compare from 1970s as project tiger started then. In 1990 there were over 4000 tigers as per official count but nowadays to show good performance 2006 numbers are used a base. As per Dr ullas karanth, india can have around 15,000 tigers as tiger protected area is around 75k sq km against 500k sq km of forest area which can support tigers. Hope you can appreciate the situation better now.
