Mother Tiger Learns to Care for Cubs | David Attenborough | Tiger Spy in the Jungle | BBC Earth

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

A young tiger cub - one of a littler of four - tumbles from the den, only to be carried back to safety in it's mother's massive jaws. Astonishing footage shot in the Indian jungle using cameras attached to elephants.

It needs to be held by the neck since it's so fragile at that age. Just like a human baby, you need to support the neck when you hold them. Holding the baby tiger by its backside/tail would be wrong since the cub has no support for the neck and the blood could rush up to the brain causing it to feint or pass out from the rush. The young tiger is still getting to grips with being a mum, you aren't born a parent but you quickly learn.

I really must thank Netflix for putting this wildlife documentary on their website. It was only back in August where I saw it for the first time. When I gave it a go, I *IMMEDIATELY* fell in love with it! How they used those special cameras to record the life of the Tigress and her cubs - in addition to the surrounding wildlife of this Indian jungle sanctuary - and their struggle to survive is just phenomenal. Easily the best documentary on the legendary big cat since National Geographic's _India: Land of the Tiger_ and reveals why the conservation of India's plants/animals remains extremely important. I truly hope that one day, once I get a good career/education of what I want to do in life, I will be able to travel to India and witness it's great majesty - from the Taj Mahal to the Sundarbans - before they (or me) disappear...
