Cheetah Cubs Make First Kill as Mom Hunts Impala | Love Nature

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

A cheetah mother must do everything she can to feed her cubs. She first tries to hunt an impala but doesn't catch a break. She nurses the cubs, but they need meat. Later, she gets lucky, as an impala baby lays in the grass, unable to run away. Its mother has spotted the cheetahs but can do nothing. The cheetah's mom encourages her kids to make their first kill, and while they do, she goes after the impala mom. The entire family feasts, but must beware of the lions in the area.

I did see a cheetah mother lose her Cubs and she came into heat and she got more Cubs. I was so proud of her she stood her ground against a female lion who could have easily killed her. She was slapping the ground and hissing and that lion turned around and left. You can practically hear the cheetah mother in her head saying you're not going to kill any more of my kids. They can run 20 miles an hour faster than Impalas and Thomson's gazelle. But nature gave them a Fighting Chance as both of these animals can do far more tighter turns than a cheetah can. I've seen them doing their turns it's really amazing they can do such tight turns and the cheetah winds up missing about half the time. I pray for the safety of the mother and cubs they are beautiful animals. And

@@rawdamohamed2825 yeah it was really amazing because let's face it being 2 and 1/2 times their size she could have easily killed that cheetah. Wouldn't even have been a fight the mother was extremely brave risking her life. I don't know about lying asses but lions are said to be the strongest cat of all and they could easily kill the slender cheetah. But she stood her ground. Some of the people who had been there for 20 years said they have never seen that in their life. They said usually the mother will try to get the lioness to chase her while the kids run and hide another way.

@@rawdamohamed2825 yes and I am so glad a male lion wasn't there because six of her wouldn't have chased him. Females really like it when the male lions are around because even though they first and eat the Lion's share the females can eat in peace when the males are there because the hyenas will then give them a wide berth. Male lions are hyena killers. They're normally killers before they take over a pride. They always say hyenas can steal food from Lions but that's not actually true they can steal food from lionesses. Male lions are known to steal food from hyenas especially if they're nomads. As strong as hyenas are unless there's 20 of them they're no match for a lion a male lion. I have seen it too many times hyenas giving a wide berth as the male lion eats literally waiting for the scraps when he's done. And listen to save a companion of theirs they won't get anywhere near a male lion. Hyenas bite harder than Lions but when the lion is so much stronger than them it's meaningless. I've seen male lions won take the food from the hyenas and then they circle wide around but don't get anywhere near him.

She's done well to keep all fpur of the babies alive. She just don't need to get make a mistake and keep them out too late because most of the predators hunt at night cheetahs are one of if not the only one to hunt during the day. Most Cubs are killed by either hyenas are lions due to the cheetah keeping them out too late to get good and full they stay slender so they can be the fastest animal in Africa. Topping out at 60 to 70 miles an hour. Thompson gazelles the second fastest animal tops out at a round 48 to 50 miles an hour. It's best defense however is the tight turns that it does

Cheetahs of the master hunters unlike lions tigers and leopards that are successful about fifteen to twenty percent of the time. Cheetahs however are successful at least 50% of the time here's where the kicker comes in at least 50% of their kills however are stolen from them. Hyenas lions and leopards being the biggest culprits but also baboons and wild dogs. Any wooden of which could kill all the Cheetahs including the mother.
