This is exactly the explanation I needed for the various parameters. Thank you so much. The crank to run explanation makes so much sense compared to documentation

As a newbie with Holley EFI, I appreciate you going over the step by step process. I loaded up my plugs waiting for the engine to come up to temp and changing them is a pain with a 30 over 350 gen one small block, straight plugs, 605 power steering box. power brake booster, and long tube headers in a 56 Chevy. I had to install a removable panel on the driver's side inner fender so that I can get to number 5 plug. A Terminator X Max Stealth with 8 injectors sits on an old school B&M 144 super charger, running Gas with E85 mixed in. Probably would have been easier with a LS swap but I started this back in the early 1990's before the LS age.

Thank you again. You should do a video on hard start with E85.

We need to get you an external microphone Devin. It will make your audio alot more clear/natural sounding.

Sounds fine….now I’m wondering what ol mate from KSR is hearing😂 I think it’s just Devins jacked up raspy voice bro…sounds like he just chain smoked 2 packs of Marlboro and polished off a 40 of Jack Daniel’s 😂.

Clint Garage no it’s bad.. but he just needs to adjust the gain on his mic. Turn it down a bit. That’s all he needs.

I have a twin turbo cobra we just got holley terminator installed been watching all your videos but I can't get it to crank without pumping the gas like a carburetor and then it does want to stay idling I have to keep my foot on the throttle about 5-8% on tps.

Sorry i am late to this... I am having a issue with a EBL P4 TPI setup... And i have a question about engines and fueling overall if you would help me.. My question is this.. If i live in a climate whereas the lowest temp the car would (EVER) be drove in is say 30's, if that unless a Christmas parade etc, but 80%+ of the time it will not be started or ran in any less than 50*F+ temps.. Is there any reason as to why the engine needs to warm up to operating temperatures faster? And if not, why would it be a bad ideal to warm the engine slower at a 14.7X:1 after startup until at closed loop operating temp if the car will idle fine at that ratio once started?!? The reason i ask is my car has a light gas sweet smell in the oil, true i am still dialing it in, however it's damn close, i mean close to "RAPED APE" settings.. I just want to lean her some, and i fear the high amount of idling may be causing it, mainly the startup to closed loop enrichment.... I start it often, once every 2-3 weeks, let her idle, make sure her battery is staying good and charged etc. Thanks!!! I appreciate these videos and have a couple for OBD1 guys and chips for those who need it. TPI stuff. Adam Gibbons

If my car ran flawlessly in cool air then 50° 50% humity then sat a month temp I’d 83 90% humidity would this rapid hot air cause it to not get on boost like as if it’s too fat?

  • @fordhoarder

Hey bud I think you mis spoke @6:15 and meant learn not closed loop. The car can go into closed loop as soon as the O2 is warm. It doesn't wait for the temp enrichment table to reach 100%

What do you suggest using for a turbo ls methanol car? Ve or pph? I’ve always used pph but this is my first methanol car

I have a bone stock 5.0L Ford F150. I have a Terminator X system running it. Cold starts are fine. But, I have a huge problem with my Hot starts. It's so bad, that it almost kills the battery trying to crank and I feel like it is dumping so much fuel that it appears to hydro-lock. The reason I say this, is sometimes during cranking it will bog down the starter and stop it sometimes. Can you help me with this?
