hey man thanx for dropping by my site and commenting to help get it off the ground. I finally came to check out who you are. Impressive drive and knowledge base you have. I'm working on a much lower budged , strictly off grid solar and wind in the forest, but we all do what we can ;), I need to be capable of clearing out at a days notice in the event of a fire here in Oregon, so permanent mounting is out of the question. Nice to know your here for me if I ever do want to go grid tie. I know you'll answer any questions I might have. Thanx man.

you should invest in a trailer enclosed and add vents to remove the heat

@@solarpowerelectricityandel2915 I don't have heat issues at all. A crappy fan on a low budget off brand charger wines a bit, its not hot. In fact the Make sky blue actually runs very cool even when the fan is on and its producing 100% of the panel potential. What heat are you talking about?

Nice install, one thing I might add is to foam seal the conduit going into the battery box to prevent any hydrogen gas from backing into another location where switching or connections take place. This could happen if the fan is moving in the wrong direction, or if the fan failed. Explosion proof installs have protection like this, just a heads up.

If you can put a spacer behind the classic. the PCB is at the back of the unit. they run a little cooler if u lift them off the wall a bit to let some airflow in behind them. only thing that stands out to me so fare Phillip hope i got your name right

First video I've seen of yours.......Are going to be running power to your fuse panel with an interlock kit? If so, are you using a split phase power inverter to power up 220 circuits? I have a split phase inverter but it says in the instructions no to connect the neutral wire and there are not many videos on "power jacks" showing a wiring diagram.

  • @solarpowerelectricityandel2915

+Guns,Games and Racing I'm running out of time today to check your other vid but your 6000 watt split phase inverter will connect to a 220 breaker so you don't have to worry about individual 110 breakers unless you're isolating them? I'm looking to run the whole panel off a 220 breaker and I have an 8000w split phase but looking into a 15000w split phase so I can run the AC also.

Are u just venting right out the wall? There's an easier way to run that vent fan. That aux will switch as a dry contact using vent fan high. No need for relay.

+Guns,Games and Racing you can use as a dry contact it is rated for 12 V 1 AM P. What are usually do is switch the negative going from battery busbar to the vent fan through the aux one terminals. I put a .5 amp fuse in line with the positive wire going to the vent fan from the battery positive busbar. The automotive relay you are using gets really hot. Midnight told me how to do this. Is your battery think 12 or 24. Most automotive relays don't switch 24 for very long
