I can imagine that would take a lot of the stress out of the situation and let them get on with what they clearly prefer doing -being creative ?

Some of the comments and prying into his personal life would be off putting. You have to have thick skin and it’s not for everybody. I personally loved his content.

In all of the time I've been watching, Long Time, I thought that the kitchen was on the other (Chapel) side! I Just Now figured out why! It's because always going down the stairs in the back of the entryway! You go down stairs under the main staircase, then turn Left & that's where my dyslexia turns me around! So I guess I'm now a meme "I was today old when I found out..." 😮 😂😂😂 😢 ❤

Simon and Yanis to the Chateau sounds like a GREAT idea. Love watching Michael with his creative moments. (Love our prints!) More Chateau videos sounds lovely.

Suggest erecting a glass conservatory over the stone terrrace over the Kitchen as an extra method of ensuring that the water doesn’t enter through the ceiling ( when funds permit ) ;)

The Chateau and being with your boys everday is worth all your effort. I think with the Convent kitchen ready, I would let Simon and Jannis finish the entry hall, clear the big room across (which will eventually be the Library) and set up the pews you own in the Chapel. You now have a space to rent for parties and events to start making money. Best wishes and lots of luck! ❤

There is still the restoration of the chapel, which I think Michael was taking paint samples to be analyzed for content so he could duplicate the original ceiling. I expect he wants that done before having big groups of people in the chapel. It is surprising how much damage just having a lot of people in a space can do once deterioration has begun.🖤🇨🇦

Billy, I am looking forward to watching you back at the Chateau. I started following you back just before you bought the Convent. I know for a fact that you put your body and soul into the Convent, and now we will gladly follow you onwards Sir! You are the best of the best! I just left a very nasty comment on some “Pethericks exposed” I told whomever the Billy Petherick has more integrity in his little toe, than they had in their whole body! Told them, quote: eff all y’all! And I meant it!

This kitchen basement renovation has me super excited in the Chateau because I feel you’re going to really make this one glow! Michael & Gwynn always make beautiful choices. It’s also nice to have this switch up back at the Chateau. It will be nice to see the convent take on more life. Well deserved by all.

Ever since Michael showed the basement Chateau kitchen on his channel a few years ago I have been looking forward to this renovation. 😊👍💜🏰

The chateau is really beautiful, and I think it will be a nice change for you to be doing some of this kind of restoration for awhile instead of all the heavy tearing out and reconstructing at the convent. You have lots of time to go back and build the library later. These bedrooms are very nice and big. The old kitchen has great potential once it is waterproofed and cleaned up. I love the little skylights from the terrace. I have always wanted a kitchen like it, from the time when cooking was interestingly complex, and everything didn’t come packaged and ready. The photo showing this one being built over the old one is wonderful.🖤🇨🇦

Wonderful seeing Mchael! For his art fans- as Billy pretty much blew the whistle about his bee hive wildflowers artistry being commandeered, I have found a way to enjoy it while avoiding giving that person monetization. I download the image from Bing image search, use as wallpaper on my cellphone, a photograph background option in my Samsung phone etc.😊

That bedroom has such wonderful proportions; it's already lovely, but will be even better when you've finished decorating it Billy. The undercroft kitchen looks very promising too - if you ended up deciding not to have a kitchen there, it would make a great space for mucky crafts like pottery, stained glass, screenprinting etc. The space of dreams!

Billy, you are looking a lot healthier. You look as if you are taking better care of yourself. Keep up with the diet and/or exercise.

Billy if your intent is to kick start a bunch of work at the chateau then I’d suggest utilizing your friends there. The convent will wait for you. Give Gwen the gift of 109% focusing on your home. Many hands make faster work❤️

Simon and Yanis at the Convent so they can apply their magic to the lobby ceiling and walls ... I hope Michael keeps the glass tiles in the ceiling of the kitchen to help with natural lighting. Great videos!
