I would also suggest trying to find issues of the Imperium magazine with the Necrons stuff, because some of those are amazing deals at MSRP. Sure, buying three copies of issues with the wraiths or tomb blades is barely cheaper than just buying boxes of those, but if you can find an issue with the Royal Court, it's a stupidly amazing discount. I bought the Imperium issue with that set at the standard price, and even then I was still paying about a quarter of the cost I'd be paying if I ordered the Royal Court from GW.

I always find it a challenge when building an army, when a crucial piece of it (either thematically or competitively) is clearly a model with a ticking clock. I for one really like the look of the old Nightbringer model, particularly in Finecast versus metal -- one of the very few that really benefitted from that change. And in its current size it's a $50 model versus the $150 that a Void Dragon would run you. And it would be one thing if we were anticipating a new model but knew our old ones would stay compatible! Warriors, Immortals, Lords can still be used with current rules. But I suppose that's how they keep us on our toes and stop us from ever feeling comfortable that our army is "complete".

What would be a reasonable price for the indomitus part of the space marines and necrons parts?

Very informative! But on another note... is that paint scheme at 0:35 somewhere available? That look sawesome!

I would look at the paintsheme for the bonereapers from Age of Sigmar. They are basicly the fantasy version of necrons.
