That is the beauty of living in a free country my friend. So youre saying that me being a good person and trying to do the right thing daily holds no weight . So I should abandon all that and focus on what Jesus has done for us. Although I dont do good things for others thinking Im gonna get a pass to heaven but do it cause its the right thing to do. And still thank the lord Jesus for what he and God have done for us. Get a jumper wire and try by-passing the seat safety switch on the bottom.

Helping friend replace starter solenoid and he can't remember on which terminals the white and black wire went on. Currently he has white on front tab and black towards back when installed. Unable to see on your video which goes where. What may happens if they are reversed? More starts but won't turn off. Any ideas?

I would always think the black wire is negative but to make sure if you trace out the negative wire from the battery will always be attached to the frame of the mower and the positive will always go to the starting solenoid. As for not turning off, to turn off the mower the coil gets grounded out so there should be a wire somewhere coming from the motor flywheel area and going to the key switch. check to see if such wire is disconnected or try ohm testing the key switch itself.

I just got my mower running after a couple years, and when I would turn it off like normal (aka. Turn the key and pull it out), the mower would still try to keep running. I tried turning the key to the start position to see if it would help to get the mower to stop and heard the starter (I think) make some buzzing/sounds. Now the mower won’t start. Did I break/fry the starter or is it another issue? Love the video, especially the faith part!

Thanks for the comment. If the solenoid still clicks when you turn the key it might be a bad starter but if there is no click I would first look at the key switch.

Tested my starter. I see sparks at the battery. Starter does nothing. Could it still be a grounding issue? You got any places to get a good starter at a decent price?

I have bought several starters for jet skis and boat motors from D&B electrical on Ebay. Been very pleased with them.

Started having issues when I shut my rider off the starter stays engaged or it stays engaged while engine is running, it only happens once in a while but when I tap the side of the mower where the solenoid is it'll shut off, I cleaned all the connections and still does it. Could it still be a bad solenoid?

hard to say, if the key switch is staying energized the it could still be sending a continuous current to the solenoid. when it does it you might try turn the key slightly towards the off position and see if the starter stops and the motor keeps running. Most of the time when a solenoid goes bad it looses electrical connection and just clicks. Are you sure the starter bindex isn't getting stuck in the up position and just need oiling?

The key is in the off position, but if I tap on the frame where the solenoid is located the starter will turn off.

@@jewski27 I use a screw driver to start mine. Keys don't work anymore. I did have a similar issue as'starter kept going (occasionally) until I stopped using keys. Probably not it at all. But your saying what it's like to start a car that's already on? That screechy sound? Happened when I used the key..

I have a question 🙋‍♂️. my tractor 🚜 it started really good but, when I cut my grass and it run about 10 to 20 minutes then it automatically shut down and I have to restart again then run about 5 to 10 minutes then stop again so what should I do for it.

Not sure if I can give you a for sure answer but would suggest when a motor stalls it can stall with two types of symptoms, 1. it start going slower and slower until is stops running or 2. it just immediately turns off just as if you turned the key off. Symptom 1 would likely be fuel related while symptom 2 would likely be electrical.

@@HighwayLoveChannel if it starts running poorly in 15 to 30 mins and runs good when the engine has completely cooled off and repeats this trend you could have bad magneto coils.

@@packrat76 … thank you 🙏 but, it was running good at the beginning for about 10 to 20 minutes then the engine just stopped and then I have to start again but, before I start again I have I wait like 5 to 10 minutes.

@@packrat76 this was precisely my issue on a Craftsman DGS 6500. It ran fine for a bit then started running on 1 cylinder, which would cause it to stall if I was cutting or pulling a hill. the coil replacements were easy with the exception of a broken screw hole which required redrilling a longer screw hole and replacing with a longer screw. The metal is not very sturdy there. Good comment though, I was looking for this one.

Thank you for sharing. I have an LT1000 with 17 Kholer and it won't start. It turns over well. I have replaced the battery, air cleaner, spark, and nothing. I put a little ether and then fuel in the carburetor and nothing. It ran for a few seconds and shut off. Can you provide any suggestions? Love the way you incorporated the word of God into your video.

if it fires up on ether for a few seconds then I would propose it is a fuel issue. Maybe check the carburetor bowl or just remove and clean the carburetor.

Where each wire goes on a 23 y/o old tractor is kind of important. I appreciate showing me the location but I'm hoping none of the wires come off while taking it apart. I'll take pics first. Zipping through the most important part is kind of odd. What about the Red puffy thing? You don't show it being reattached and my new part, allegedly replacing the OEM one, has no place for that red thing. Is it actually attached to anything?

@@COWBOYZNATION : I forgot about this. I figured it out. I replaced the solenoid and it still didn't start. Back to checking the obvious: The battery. I originally recharged it. It went from zero to hero but nada, thus the solenoid replacement. I have a stronger battery in my tractor at my other house. I put it in and bingo. Bad battery. So now I know not to trust my battery charger, other than it does charge but displays everything as charged per time charged, not actually charged.

@@tommyus4 New battery. New solenoid. No starty. I took jumper cables and hooked the starter up directly to the battery. She cranked over fine. But no start.

I replaced my solenoid and its still doing the same thing.

when I started mine it sounded like the starter stayed on with the motor then both quit. Now nothing hapens when I turn the key. My mower always usally starts with choke in less than a second. Is it the battery? or what? Kepp going on the Christian stuff. Everything you said is true.

Probably not the battery as a battery would turn over slower and slower and then you would likely just get a click noise from the solenoid. Perhaps look at the battery connections for a loose or shorted battery cable. Maybe the switch which doesn't allow you to start it with the blades engaged could be bad.

maybe the fuse, pull it out and check if it’s blown, the U shape in the middle would be, not U shaped. that’s my personal experience

Hi Brian, Thank you for your reply. There are two different baptisms spoke of in the bible, one of water baptism and one of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. To better understand the difference you need to go to an interlinear bible for a study of how the word “baptize” was translated from the Greek manuscripts. First the word baptize or baptized is translated from the Greek word “Baptizo (G907)”. In Matthew 3:11 John says “I baptize (Baptizo G907) you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize (Baptizo G907) you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” In this passage we can see there are two baptisms, one the baptism of water for repentance and the second is the baptism of the Holy Spirit which is often physically manifested by the gift of speaking in tongues and other spiritual gifts, both baptisms of which are translated from the same Greek word (Baptizo G907). We can conclude from Matthew 3:11 that the use of the word Baptize (Baptizo G907) does not exclusively mean “baptism in water” and from my study the use of the word baptize (Baptizo G907) when it is referring to water baptism it connected with the second Greek word for water “Hydor G5204”, which is the same pattern we see in Mark 1:8, Luke 3:16 and John 1:33. Now with this conclusion in mind when we read Acts 2:38 “Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized (Baptizo G907) , every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”, we can not conclude this is speaking of water baptism as “Hydor G5204” is not mentioned and additionally the scripture says “you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” which is the physical manifestation of the “baptism of the Holy Spirit”. Likewise we see this same pattern in Mark 16:16 “Whoever believes and is baptized (Baptizo G907) will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.” While (Baptizo G907) is used here, “water (Hydor G5204)” is not included and immediately following in vs 17 we again see the physical manifestation of the “Baptism of the Holy Spirit”. We also see this same pattern in Acts 19:1-6. What do you think?

The bible addresses Jesus dying for our sins in many scriptures: 1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, Romans 5:8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 10:9 if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. I hope this helps. Hi David, Sorry for your disappointment but you must not have read the description to the video before watching as it clearly said we would be "sharing a word of encouragement of what the Lord has done for you and I". Magic is demonic and of the occult but the power of the Holy Spirit is living and real. Hope you got your mower fixed.
