The reason for that digital sound has an entire story behind it. A book, a website, and an entire dystopian society set in the 2040’s. Their song “The Breach” has a music video which kinda shows some of that, along with manifest.

The last minute is in fact a segue of sorts. They are all over the album in between songs. Starset has a whole lore behind every album.

I'm absolutely confident he will hate that song

Digital, synthetic, electric... that's the point. :) They combine that with raw sounds and produce... this. And it works most of the time. They leave a lot of room for synphonies and melodies than the average rock or metal music.

Should definitely react to Devolution next

All songs have those shorts, i dont listen to them because they're not part of the songs, but of the story like an extra "instrumentation" for the next track of the album.

Whoever mentioned Ricochet by STARSET, I agree with them. It's an amazing song. TW: it's mostly synth with half the song being synth. But once the ball gets rolling, it rolls fast. And besides all that it's my favorite song of all time and I reflect with it a lot. You reviewing it would mean a lot to me

its a concept album so its filled with interludes that conjoin each song kind of like a movie

hey david i was wondering if you could react to the new bassist of Lovebites do a cover the video is called Fami Alien Alien so you can see how amazing she is the reason i am asking is because they are back they released a Music video that you should react to today called Judgment Day it is incredible but i want you to see how good Fami is before you see her do a Lovebites song please let me know what you think

meh, parts of the song had a good feel/drive in chorus, drumming mostly, but vocals and lyrics did nothing for me. When David said synthetic that kind of encapsulated how I felt. The harsh vocals were good switch up.... yet again only worked in the chorus. The versus were "meh".

The theme of the Band, yees the band as a whole, is space themed. And it's composition is cinematic and melodious. Metal heads usually are exclusive to, well, metal, screams and heavy stuff. So no wonder people don't get into Starset with 1 song.
