There's nothing that I hate about Starset, I've been a fan of them for about six years. I agree that there's really nothing real about this song, but I still enjoy it. I like that Starset experiments with different sounds and techniques, it make them unique. When I first started listening to them, I admit that I didn't like how electronic it sounded, but I grew to appreciate it over the years. Sometimes you just have to put your critiques to the side and simply listen to the song and enjoy it for what it is.

In my opinion starset songs are best is certain scenarios like this one. I like to listen to this while working on electronics.

I’m pretty sure the guitars are real and Luke Holland tracked the drums for the album as well so i’m sure it’s real. If not sampled a bit but most bands do that for the studio

They definitely are not recommending their best songs IMO, I am a big Starset fan, but not really into this one. You haven't heard their best stuff.

Poor David. Him liking this song would be like a real Italian person (from Italy) liking Olive Garden. I get it. Sadly, 8-10 years ago I would have been ok (liked by not alot) this song, but after listening to so much metal in past 3 years and some of the reactors that really know music and explain why songs are well composed or explaining time vs tempo and so on, I just cannot enjoy a song like this anymore. I guess I'm a music snob now? idk, I feel educated, but now I know how to tell a well-written song (like Fortress by Alter Bridge or 99% of anything from Nightwish) from a poorly written one, and I think I can hear auto-tune and processed instruments (I wear decent stereo headphones over ear) my bar has been raised. I still enjoy Korn, Metallica, and Tool (esp Tool) as they are not pop songs, yet many things I used to like (like Savage Garden) I cannot stand to listen to anymore. I knew right before that first pause when David said what he said, I KNEW exactly what he would say. I've watched about 80% of the reactions from this channel over past year..... I can repeat the "I'm not saying its going to be blocked, but when you have official video, .......... " word for word by now. Thanks to David, JW Soundsworks, The Charismatic Voice, Karthax Academy and few others, I now can tell good music from bad music. WOW! I just heard the score.... about 1pt higher than I expected.... David is going soft!~~ LoL

Hey man thats ok if you dont like it. Not everyone likes this kind of stuff, each to their own taste :) I respect the "It's not my cup of tea" versus some other reviewers who would just say the song is bad. It's not necessarily "bad", its just not for everyone. I do feel like this song shows his vocal range quite a bit. Also, the orchestra was real all throughout the song, and starting with the second chorus they brought in real drums. I think they brought in real guitars towards the end, so while it is highly artificial, its not 100% artificial.

Being a massive STARSET fan, I actually enjoyed this review and can see why you didn't enjoy this song. This song is super different compared to the rest of their songs. Also, guitars, drums in 2nd chorus and strings are 100% real, but it kind of blends in with the synthetic sounds so it's difficult to make out.

As a Starset fan I have to say that this is one of my least favourite songs from them, I really wonder why this even was requested when there are so many much better Starset songs even on this album which is also not my favourite :')
