The best way to describe a Bethesda game is I spent close to 100 hours exploring Skyrim without even touching a single quest If there are any games that comes close to similar level of freedom & environmental interaction then that would be RDR2 & Zelda botw And I passionately hate games with maps that look like someone randomly thrown *?* marks

Bethesda, sure makes me nostalgic. But also reminds me of game studios becoming - in general - capitalistic dipshits. Even getting a full game is seemingly too much to ask by now. At least we are not on a level as mobile games.

The hectic editing is fun... For like 5 seconds, this video feels like 10 hours of torture for your mind, like a really really bad drug trip. Stop using cocaine while editing and slow down with the speaking, 0 comedic timing or any timing really just one long sentence.

The editing is extremely obnoxious

No one? Excuse me? You had the Witcher, you had stalker, the souls series, you had fallout Vegas (which wasn't by Bethesda)... Many more as well. And finally you get a ton of MMORPG's that have far more story and shit about it, look feel and play far better even if they're grindy... Let's be real here, Bethesda is popular because of two factors - 1 : modding (aka others working for you, which wow, makes games better!) And 2 : riding the hype, fame and interest of two massive and beloved series they've bought - the elder scrolls and fallout. But again, being real, looking at all these games, they didn't really do anything too impressive with them. From a technical standpoint they're all an utter mess. Visually without mods they suck. They're buggy, they run like shit, especially fo4 and 76. They're grindy. They're unbalanced and broken in that regard too, say Skyrim where some bloke would spawn and one shot you in a random encounter just cause. Or you'd learn alchemy and crafting, make potions and clothes to boost potions, then again, and craft one shot items and invincible armor. Or the horrible shooting mechanics. The world writing in fallout is cartoony and gives a lot of freedom, so they didn't have to make it consistent or well crafted, just think of some fun encounters... And it already has a background written by many others before they even had the IP. So there goes the 'awesome world crafting'. Same for Skyrim, and while it was harder to craft because it's not as ridiculous, it was also not too hard with all the source material, and even then when you look at it many things don't add up not work. And finally the rpg which barely had rpg, especially after Skyrim. Bethesda is among the shittiest and luckiest studios to exist, riding two great ip's and lucky to have an easily moddable engine. That's it.
