I’ve listened to a lot of the “racist” reviews and analyses of the show so far and I haven’t noticed people specifically complaining about the presence of black people; It’s more so the absence of white people (which personally I don’t have a problem with if it not for the clear hate that the company of Star Wars has for its fans). Also, a lot of the criticisms I’ve seen have been about the story structure, bad dialogue, and amateurish nature of the show. Not only that but when it comes to the lesbian stuff, it’s very clearly in ALL of the subtext. Given what the creator has said in interviews, it’s clear that she’s inserted herself and her struggles into every fiber of the story. When George Lucas made the original and prequel Star Wars movies, they were about oppression, corruption, Luke going on the hero’s journey, fellowship, and overcoming evil. This episode is clearly a therapy session for the creator with a Star Wars skin on.

I enjoyed it and what you said is true all of it. That's why I love your reactions than other people's reactions on this. Because you tell it how you see it. Loved the episode… great review… and quite frankly all the waspy nerdy types can get stuffed. And I don’t think they’ve shown what truly happened in that fire. The Jedi are hiding something.

The whole episode wasn't even about the lesbian couple anyway. Also, George is married to a black woman. Those toxic fools would call other fans who like the episode "shills." It's ridiculous, I think the outrage might be from fake fans. Other people are following the hate train just to get views and likes.

A lot of us who have issues with the part of the story involving the mothers, is not that they are a gay couple but that the girls being conceived by the force breaks cannon and we are tired of Disney throwing 40 years of story to the side.

Hearing Sol say he was taken by the Jedi at the age of 4 made me think about my 4 year old niece. A group comes in and says your niece has special abilities and we need to take her, but you'll never be able to see her again. The hell I won't would be my response.

I think there was a sith around ..that saved mae ..hopefull next episode we see what really happened ..

I love it how, even in a Galaxy far, far away, Disney still managed to represent fatherless black kids.
