Star Wars Set Decoration
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Star Wars Set Decorations are comprised of many different elements. Crates, Barrels, Banners, these are all the kinds of things you see in the films and TV series. So today we are going to combine a few of these and do our best to create a little piece of that iconic look.
Big Thank You to Kevin Kanka for the amazing banners. If you are interested in having one made you can follow his Facebook Page and Instagram account and reach out to him there. Here is the link:

Paint it and put it together, you get Star Trek. Weather it, you get Star Wars .

Thanks man! And thanks for making such great decals available to the community!
I'll say here what I tell my friends when I try to get them to subscribe....outside of Lucasfilm, there is NO ONE who has nailed the Star Wars aesthetic like Brian and Carissa. Anyone can make a replica of something that exists, but to take an original idea and make it look 'related' to what we see in films and TV, that's talent. Not to mention the ideas are AWESOME. A vaporator margarita machine...genius!

Wow! Thank you so much for the incredibly kind words.
Cool build! I feel that making props at 1:1 scale is such a different mentality, though there are some similarities in doing small scale pieces. Thanks for sharing!

Totally! They are also exhausting! LOL. I can't wait until we start our massive diorama display project so I can scale down occasionally. Use some of those awesome techniques we've learned from watching your builds!

You know it's going to be a good day when you sit down with a cup of joe and discover a new Smugglers Room video has been uploaded. The banners are amazing and how you decided to display them is also very cook. Nice work! I look forward to the next video.

For me it's the details that make something a Star Wars set, the greebles kind of knobs and buttons. You always seem to nail that look exactly. These look great!

I Have just come back from Tunisia this week and whilst over there I visited the film sets of Mos Espa and Lars homestead.. Brilliant walking around the troglodyte houses & the specially made town in the middle of the Sahara desert made for Mos Espa trying to spot scenes from the movies. I took loadsa photos and as a Star Wars fan it was a BRILLIANT experience. The Sahara scenes are also been used in Indiana Jones and "the English patient" amongst other films. The architecture in Mos Espa has men thinking about making my man cave in the garden look more "Star warsey!!" Oh WHO can say they have sat in the same spot as where Luke drunk his blue milk!

loads of inspiration can be took from the props there.. The moisture evaporators are all over the place and close up you will be amazed how simple they and other greeblies were made..Your stuffs FAR more technical!!!

Thank you my friend!
It’s amazing how quickly a cool prop can come together when you leverage skills and techniques you’ve learned on previous projects, a little paint brush here, a greeblie there, some PVC, and then tap into the rich talent in this community to put a crowing element on the top! This is a good formula for a successful build. I also liked the Ken and Barbie Mando’s! Great vid Brian!

Split loom was perfect! I've used heat shrink tubing for that application but you can still see the threads unless you do a couple of layers. That can give it a pretty cool look though.

Looks like they pulled the stickers off the Etsy shop. Hopefully they’ll Re offer them soon.

I have a couple of older computers sitting around here and was thinking of donating the parts to you if you would be interested. I hate to just toss them if they could be useful to anyone.
