I remember when 11 year old me first did this mission in 2004. THe At ST part was a bit tough, but getting into that AT AT and rampaging my way to the turbines was one of my proudest moments

I would have preferred if we got to use the AT-AT like the AT-ST, though and not just have a cockpit view with the automated movement.

Goes into enormous building in one of the slowest vehicles possible. Destroys objective and entire building starts to explode. Somehow INSTANTLY back at Y-Wing for a daring escape!

Obviously Wedge got out of the walker soon as the thing was exploding and 1 of his rebel teammates on the X-Wings & Y-Wings that were fighting the TIEs had flown down to pick up Wedge and fly him to his Y Wing and got out of there safely.

@@liamgasser8062 Most AT-ATs have a garage inside of them for carrying speeder bikes. Assuming that the walker Antilles used had any scout trooper vehicles onboard, he could’ve ridden one back to his ship.

This game was really ahead of it's time back in the day. It's aged very well.

Fun fact. While tackling this area flying on Y-wing, there's only a total of 3 Alliance ships. Now on ground level, there's a whole squadron swarming the skies

And yet Disney wants us to forget him and instead fawn over a bloody hypocrite named Iden Versio. They even went as far as to mug Wedge's achievements as part of her hype - Inferno Squadron is basically an inferior copycat of Wraith Squadron.

DAMN, Wedge was a badass in this game, and in Rouge Leader.

That AT-AT bit was way too short. It would have been wonderful to literally take down an army with that thing, instead of just a few AT-STs and turbines.

The thing I remember most about this game was the button mashing mission on Dagobah being impossible to do.

Yeah I remember pushing the b button at an ungodly speed to pick up the x-wing and no matter how fast I pressed it I couldn’t pass it. I think now your suppose to press it at a normal speed for it to work.

The AT-ST and AT-AT missions were great. The speeder-bike missions were great. The multi-player modes were great (especially that co-op campaign). But the goddamn parts where you're on foot are the worst parts of this game.

NoiseMarines Same. I especially loved the levels where with anything related to the Storm Commandos. (Tie Hunters, Escort Carriers and APC's) the design of them and how they were used in the game where incredible.

Best part of the whole level is piloting that AT-AT hearing loud footsteps as I blast my through to destroy the super laser, I only gripe that I couldn't take it home with me and store it in the Rebels' hanger to play with it.

i hear Dubrillion and i think of the Vong war, love this mission

I remember in Rogue squadron for N64 if you put in a cheat called chicken you could play as an AT-ST and I think this mission was a reference to that.

Makes you wonder how did Wedge escape the explosion so fast in the AT-AT. Did he kick it and rolled out Transformers style, or did he just fart himself up to the platform?

The standard AT-AT has a speeder bike garage at the rear of the main hull. If they were any of these scout trooper vehicles onboard the walker Wedge commandeered, he could’ve used one to make his escape.

So. This must of been what inspired Starkiller Base. Not a fan of the sequel trilogy but this just screams Starkiller Base.

This was my favorite Star Wars game, really want to play it again :D

Looks like the 3rd act of Rogue One.

I remember X-play wa reviewing Battlefront and sayinh finally a game where you can drive a AT-AT and blow stuff up. I was looking at my case of Rebel Strike. Don't listen to them. You are great.

Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike - The Battle of Dubrillion (Galactic Civil War)

i can't believe i never know about this game,it looks very cool!

Starwars rebels next animation should feature wedges , Luke's and han missions as flashbacks.

I rented this from a Blockbuster in 2003, thinking it was the second one that I had wented two months earlier. For two days, my mind was absolutely and positively blown, for I had thought that i had put in some sort of cheat code that allowed me to unlock a new branch of missions without realizing it.

hot take: I liked the AT-ST missions

I always wondered... What did Wedge do to the driver of that original AT ST?

+Harpoon2theRescue In the second game (_Rogue Leader_) there were two levels where you played as Darth Vader in the Battle of Yavin ("Triumph of the Empire") and then another on Yavin IV ("Revenge on Yavin"). Not sure how you accessed them other than cheat code, though I'm guessing it involved getting the best score on every mission or something very difficult.

Some ships have it (X-wings). Some do not (B-Wings).

If a craft has a droid socket, it has regenerative health.

Taking Wedge out of the sky always annoyed me.

Am I the only one who notices any similarities between this mission and the last one with the Battle of Endor?

I love the Star wars Jedi series, but we need games like this again. Until then it better be a well thought out game....oh what am I thinking it's disney. The force is female, forced diversity characters, strong women, inclusivity. No scary lightsabers, and my favorite you get stabbed by a lightsaber, apparently you live. Also no dismemberment remember it cannot be too violent.
