I remember watching your channel for the first time about 1.5 years ago….and thinking how awesome everything was. Now, after watching this again, it’s still cool, but amazing how much more you have come. The refined signature logos, digital effects, intro, channel theme music. Love how you keep refining your craft, but being cognizant to stop tweaking when you have things dialed in. Also cool to see things I missed early on, like Carissa’s voice acting. Too awesome

Hey Brian, I've been binge watching your and Carissa's channel the last few days and have absolutely been loving it. I also think it's hilarious that you built a margarita maker using a Waste King garbage disposal LOL! I installed a 1 HP version for my mom recently. That thing could dispose of body parts so I have no doubt it could crush immense amounts of ice. I'll keep that idea in my back pocket 👏👏 Keep making my friend 🥃

Hi Brian! I've been digging through some of your older videos for inspiration, and I have questions on this one. Does it still work, and was the 1/2 HP disposal strong enough to do the job? I'm thinking about building one for an event, and wondered if you had any "If I had known then what I know now" thoughts. Does it stand the test of time?

When I was younger before I even knew what it was I thought it was a radio tower a big white radio cell tower for some reason you know and I thought that was there because you know the movie set had radio tower so they can communicate with people but no it's a moisture vaporator that harvest moisture from the ground so they could probably get water or something I'm not sure but yeah I think those things are really really cool looking I would love to build one like a miniature one that would be really bad ass

Simply AWESOME idea and even cooler build. But I'd love to see the insanity inducing cleaning process to keep mold from building up inside the disposal and lines. Star Wars themed parties are great but not if your guests are getting food poisoning.
@TheSmugglersRoom
4 жыл бұрын
LOL, it's actually super easy. We do a couple of cycles of water and ice, then it's pretty simple to scrub out the cooler and rinse. Then I pop the disposal out with a simple twist, and clean it. The entire process takes me about 30 min, but that's not much different than cleaning out the smoker, grill, or other outdoor stuff we have.
Ok. Here is a challenge. An arcade cabinet but something inspire by Mos Eisley's Cantina or a Tie Fighter

Started binge watching your vids last night. Subbed. But, wtf is a bradley nailer?
@TheSmugglersRoom
4 жыл бұрын
deepin thot LOL!!! Awesome, thank you! It’s actually a “Brad nailer.” I was as a total noob with it when I made the video and got that a tad wrong, 🤣 but a Brad nailer uses thin nails where you might split the wood, similar to a finish nailer. It makes a very small hole and is good for this type of thing. Thanks for watching!!
What size screws did you use to attach the igloo to the box???
@TheSmugglersRoom

A couple of thoughts: really difficult to clean out that cooler and garbage disposal of all the sugar; and, is all that PVC stuff (and the glue) safe for food? What about the mechanism of the garbage disposal? I don't know, but as fun as it was to watch you make this, I wouldn't drink a Marguerita from it.
@TheSmugglersRoom
4 жыл бұрын
Hi There. We are able to clean this with a fair amount of ease. Thus far we have not had any issues. The disposal was new out of box, and clean. We ran a solution of soap similar to what you would use to clean your dishes. The PVC is safe as well. Thanks for watching.

What sizes of pipes were used in the machine portion and what did you use to prevent leaks cause I want something similar
@TheSmugglersRoom
4 жыл бұрын
Hi there. For most of the project everything was 2” PVC. I used PVC cement to attach all the pipe work much like you would do with the plumbing in your home. That did the trick. Hope that helps, let us know if you have any other questions.
@jamiestamand4840
4 жыл бұрын
@@TheSmugglersRoom one more question. What was the size of the holes you drilled in the cooler for the garbage disposal and the pvc return pipe.
@TheSmugglersRoom
4 жыл бұрын
Jamie St Amand I have a hole-saw bit that is just a tad bigger than the diameter of the 2”PVC pipe I used for the return pipe. It did have about a 1/4 gap between the pipe and the outside wall, but with a little silicone it worked well. The hole for the bottom disposal was a 4” hole-saw bit and then I sealed the space between the disposal and the base I used the plumbers putty that you typically would use when installing a kitchen sink.

You are correct, and we’ll try to provide better details going forward.
I like this channel, but...even tho I liked Star Wars, I never followed anything about that film, so many of these videos, nicely done and fun, are a bit too SW-based to relate to. I'll just look for the more generic videos from this channel so that I know what is being referenced in a more general way. Thanks for the video anyway. For fans, this has to be really great!

This is cool. Freaknig brilliant in how it looks, truly. BUT, garbage disposals are not "food safe" even ones with stainless parts. They're designed to be on the "waste" side of things, not the "food production" side. They aren't necessarily made with food safe materials nor are they easy to clean with all kinds of nooks and crannies for stuff to grow. I'm not sure any amount of flushing would ensure the disposal was clean.
