Even if the music was not connected to "Star Wars", it is amazing in itself!

This masterpiece will still be played just like this for hundreds of years to come. Possibly thousands. Amazing.

I started crying a few seconds in from the throne room music because I love Star Wars so much and it reminds me when my mom took me to see it in 77. My mom is now one with the force and I hope to join her before too long. May the force be with all of you!

when you need to make important decicions in your life ask her to help guide you.

I understand that most orchestras aren't exactly proud of the fact that they have to do pop-culture shows to keep interest and funding moving, but I for one am quite grateful for them. The classical shows really speak to my emotions as an adult...but the popcorn shows never let me forget what it is to be a kid.

Not just a wonderful job, an outstanding job... if you listen without the video it sounds like you're listening to the OST! Unbelievable!

Brings back so many memories of playing this in high school back in 1979. Our band was 200 members strong & we had some of the best conductors ever. Loved seeing this & hearing this 🎼 🎶 🎵

I saw a KZread video of a man doing a tribute to his recently deceased father; it was obviously meant for family and friends yet it had a dozen dislikes by people who just randomly saw it. I mean, really? If it showed up on your recommendations and you didn’t like it then move on. No need for the disrespect. This was the first movie I saw in a theater. I was 17 years old and in Joplin, Missouri.

What a great sound. John Williams is right up there with the classics.

I literally had tears after listening to this amazing orcestra. This art of musical storytelling simple can't be surpassed by anything else. Touched the very soul and feelings. Amazing! Thank you!

These young Ladies and Gentlemen did an outstanding job. It was beautiful. I had to listen to it again with my eyes closed. Beautifully performed.

This is some of the very best music ever made in history. Listening to it always bring nostalgia and no theme can beat Star Wars.

The fact that no one in these Orchastreas look a day over 20 and they play the music with excellence at such a high level jus wows me. Like rythms, balance, tune, and harmony and everything is just PERFECT! 😍

Its not really that hard to play on stage. At least the biggest thing I worried about was making an audible mistake. Then it gets recorded and you know it was you. Really you get wrapped up in the piece than you do the crowd once it gets started.

You guys are giving the London Symphony orchestra a run for their money! Great performance!

If this doesn't make you appreciate the genius of John Williams, then I don't know what else will

Many companies make 'student' and even 'intermediate' instruments in various colors. Since this is a student orchestra, I'm actually surprised there aren't more colored instruments.

The wonderful world of John Williams fantasy and Magic reminds of his tribute to possibly the world's most famous orchestra the BPO in Berlin. From there he conducted what just might be their rival the VPO. I think they are both so talented it's beyond words. Thank you John W for giving us your music. In a hundred years you will never be forgotten.

These kids are fantastic! After five years they must be doing something equally good for themselves if not still playing music. I can't stop playing these videos back again and again! They're all so young especially that young boy in the basoon section! Their parents must be so proud of them all! God bless them all!

Wow, Wow, Wow!!! That truly is some performance and then some! Having seen many performance over the years of this kind of concert, this particular rendition of this famous piece of music, is by far the best I have heard. As a youth orchestra, you should be doubly proud & rightly so. All of you, take a bow!

They have a very high midichlorian count.

It's funny when you hear a piece of music that you've only barely acknowledged during a film. Then when you hear it isoloated and performed within it's own merit. It's actually astounding! Beautifully done orchestra, you have my highest praise as a viewer...I should have kept up with those trombone lessons lol x

As an 80's child this music reminds me of my childhood years and all my life's joys and struggles that I have come across along the way. Also this song also reminds me that there's always a rainbow after the rain. So nostalgic and epic thought. Truly a legendary master piece 🖖🖖🖖

I have been listening to this for 40 YEARS now and it never get old!

Hanami Siso-Higa she was probably nervous for f*cking up. I mean when the entire prchestra is playing, it's not very noticable if one violinist screws up.

We alwayls do! Or the reed can close! I play oboe too! That solo is not big problem! Only practice and a good reed :)

When hearing such piece from an incredible orchestra it's just amazing and gives me chills going back in time in 1977.

I saw "Star Wars" the first time in a huge, old fashioned theater in Toronto from front row balcony seats. From the opening credits to the very end I sat there with my mouth open....I couldn't believe what I was seeing and hearing. I think I went back 30 times....and every time it was the same. Bravo!!!!

The original movie premiered in 1977, before many (or all) of these musicians were born, and yet they play it with such passion. This brings back so many memories!

2:16 litterly made me cry like ive bin watching starwars since i was 10 im now 18 and i still love it so much it gave me (goosebumps)all over me
