On my first playthroughs I always chose Ashton and wondered who that 3 eyed guy was until I looked it up on a walkthrough, but now I find myself getting Opera and Ernest over him, mainly because it fits the story more and you can get 3 Battle Suits (PA Mars, PA Linga, Calnus at the end) on CD 1 in Claude's scenario that way, which is essential for the Universe Mode.

He still SUCKS a in fact I find Ashton Precis Noel Leon are all worthless and are NEVER in my party Welch is IN Second Evolution only and even SHE sucks IN that version of the game. For Universe mode use 4x Bloody armor users Opera must be one of them the Battle suits still SUCK even on EARTH MODE I ONLY stole the 2 off of Ernest in order to sell them BOTH for 24 MILLION Fol max 32 million instead. Dias is a MUST for Universe mode.
