So yes, I’m here in 2024. I found this video at least 10years ago. I’m always happy when the algorithm brings it back around. It always softens my heart, makes me smile and makes my eyes water a bit from happiness. Whatever my bad day is, this song by all of these great street musicians always lifts me up.

Does this make anyone else eyes tear up? Race? Doesn't matter. Religion? Doesn't matter. Nationality? Doesn't matter. It's just about the music. I've been watching this video for years and it never gets old old. Thank you for this and all the playing for change videos.

This is what happens when people get together and make beautiful music.

My father loves this song, and this specific version of the song. Two months ago he got ill and was sent to the hospital. Later on he was diagnosed with glioblastoma, the worst kind of brain cancer. Doctors said treatment was not worth it because if he survived, he would be in coma for the rest of his life, unable to move, talk and even function properly without the help of medical support. He may depart at any moment. Dad, I love you with all my heart. Hope to see you again when my time comes. Till then, all I got is the memories of the wonderful time we had together. Thank you for everything you taught me, all the sacrifice you made so I could have a better life. I’ll miss you so much dad. When you meet grandpa and grandma, tell them I said hi, and that I miss them too.

I was in a deep depression in 2010 and this song brought me to tears and joy all at the same time. I listened to it everyday until days got brighter. Hope anyone who's going through it now knows there's people out there who love you and will stand by you. I sure will
