Stam Audio 76D+ Compressor - LOOK INTO
Today we review the brand new Stam Audio 76D+: a faithful recreation of the1176 Revision D legendary FET compressor with some extra unique features only available on this unit.
The Super Slow attack option and the additional discrete Tube output stage have made this piece of outboard, the Swiss army knife of compression.
We run different program materials through the unit and compare it with another 1176 Rev. D replica from Warm Audio.
There is also a brief demo of the THD this analogue beast is imparting to the sound.

Thank you for the comprehensive demo. Their site leaves me hopeless...not in stock and no info on future production runs. Having said that, I've been gathering info on 1176 style compressors and this at the top of the list.

Thanks for the information. I’m definitely buying this over the black audio bluey. For vocals is this better with the tube engaged? In your opinion

Thanks for watching! The tube option is nice to have. Once you have the unit you will tell based on the source you are processing.
Tube output on slow is SO good (snare)
