I really look forward to doing another "mystery" quilt....not quite sure it will be exactly like this one or not, but this one was a ton of fun! All of the videos are posted here if you ever want to follow along and make this art quilt :) They are set up in a playlist and all grouped together so you can find them easily. If you do ever make it I'd love to see a photo!

The puzzle graph is a perennial classic. Everyone can bring something away from your template, as it lends itself to quilting, from the basic level to the complex. Inspiring!

Me too Robin....I'd sit and do them for hours. I went to Ollie's to find activity books with these specific puzzles in them and had a hard time finding some! But I see you can get them all over the internet. Yay, I'm glad you're going to come hang out with us on Wednesdays, this will be fun!

I’m bad with mystery anything. And I have trouble picking fabric for a quilt I can see lol. This would really be a challenge for me😊 So I’ll do what another lady said she would do. Be here to watch on Wednesday with my finger hovering over the buy tab! Looking forward to seeing what you have up your sleeve 😊

I'm so glad you're going to join in on Wednesdays and check this series out and just hang out with us! I imagine the whole "mystery" aspect won't appeal to many...matter of fact the last mystery quilt I did, I had several people wait until the end and the quilt was revealed before deciding to make it...and I totally get it :) If nothing else, just spending creative time together will be fun I think!

Your excitement is contagious! This will be my first puzzle - I guess I've led a sheltered life , or showing my age ... lol I enjoy puzzles though and used to really like dot-to-dot. Planning to join in & follow along. Thank you for your cute intriguing & exciting video intro!

hahahaa.....I totally get that! I think the appeal of the "mystery" aspect won't apply to a lot of people....but maybe as the quilt starts to reveal it's self some will want to play along......or at least be inspired to create something similar :) Either way, I think it will be a great break in the week to just hang out and so something fun :)

What type of fabric would you suggest for the 5” squares Lisa? Solids, stripes, light, dark, polka dots? I know you don’t want to give too much away but colors wouldn’t do that would it? Love watching your videos and I might actually be able to take part in this one, fingers crossed.

Woohoo!!!! You gonna follow along?!?!!! There are absolutely no rules in this quilt what so ever...how refreshing! So....if you think about how stained glass looks....you can maybe pick your fabrics based on that....but you might want to avoid solid white and solid green for your 5" squares. I plan on mixing maybe some batiks, florals, solids and prints for mine.....with a range of colors. Not 100% sure as I'll be cutting them tommorow and showing them on Wednesday :)

I would luv to do this but when I try to purchase the puzzle pieces ETSY won't allow me. Is this still available?

Will a precut pack work as long as there are 48 pieces? Also how much experience do you need to do this? I think this sounds awesome!

Sure, I think a pre-cut pack of 5 inch squares is a great idea.....and would save some time cutting :) I think even a beginner would be able to do this quilt plus I'm going to walk you through the steps in the videos. Check out the video this coming Wednesday and see what you think :)

Hello Cindy :) I like to say....it's your quilt and no rules, so you can choose any colors you'd like :) In Wednesday's video I'm showing the fabrics that I'm going to use and I'm going to talk about some fun color ways and give examples, so that may be helpful. See you Wednesday :)

I can't wait to follow along, I love puzzles, although the mystery may test my patience, but I'm always up for the challenge and trust your vision. I will make some fabric selections after your 1st video, but I've been wanting to make myself something in shades of fuscia pink, white & black...this may just be the project. 2 questions: 1. Will the videos post at 12:00 noon Eastern Time? (I'm a California girl so I may be able to watch on my lunch hour. 2. Is it possible to pay the full $12.00 up front and then you just release the puzzle pieces to us each week, thereby preserving the mystery?

that sounds like an amazing color way for this quilt! Yes, 12 noon EST is when the videos will go up along with the listings in the Etsy shop. I think it's going to be easiest to release the pieces each week, however if you want to keep it simple and wait until the 8th week, I'm posting a listing that week for $12.00 and you'll get all of the pieces at once.

Can we pay the $12.00 all at once or do we need to purchase each week separately?

each week there will be a new separate listing, however the 8th week I will put a listing in my Etsy shop for $12.00 and you can get all 8 weeks worth of puzzle pieces all at one time :)

Hi Brenda :) I know obtaining the puzzle pieces each week might be a slight pain lol. In the 8th week I'm releasing a 27 page PDF that has ALL the pieces in one document to download. Unfortunately I won't be able to release them sooner :(

Hi Deborah :) In the video description box each week, there will be a link to an Etsy listing. You pay directly through Etsy and they handle the downloading transfer, pretty easy! You can go to Etsy and find my shop, add it to your favorites and then simply just check the shop every Wednesday afternoon for the new pieces as well.
