Oh your bd is 2/27? Mine is 2/15 and my youngest daughters is 2/26 , and her husbands is 2/14 😃 so we about have the whole month of February covered ❣️❣️ back to business - I like the thinner selections better, but I suppose if I finished it depends on what would be needed😄 and I really like the thin black ribbon ✨✨

I think if I’m able to do this later I would cut my squares for the background at 5.5 and so them all together first then put all the appliqué on but that’s just me and what I would like.

Lisa I would first like to say Happy Birthday! Also I truly enjoy watching your videos. Now regarding the bias tape/ribbon/yarn you used for demonstration, I myself like the grosgrain ribbon and thick (6) yarn on samples. I think the thin yarn was way to thin and others(i.e. bias tape and 1st ribbon) was way to thick but thank you for taking the time and effort for giving us your view it was very helpful.

Awe, thank you so much Cindy! I think I'm leaning towards the grosgrain ribbon as well.......AND the thicker yard. I may just go with the yarn because with this one skien I can do my whole quilt and have plenty left over for other stuff hahahaa.

Happy. Birthday. Today is my youngest grandson birthday too, he turns 10.

Lisa what about Clover's 1/4" Fusible Bias Tape, it comes in lots of different colors. I made a stained glass table runner using the gold bias tape.
