An Australian here that's tuning-in to see what you might have to say about the longer 5 door Jimny. I believe they're build in India, and given that India seems to appreciate off road driving, I can well imagine India might start producing lift kits and various other options. The main thing I'm interested in though is improved performance from the engine. If that was put together at the factory, to me that could be a real game changer. If it only comes with 4 speed gear box, then a 5th gear and improved steering would be something that would turn heads towards India. I'm always dubious about putting a non factory turbo into any car. And my experience with Super Chargers is zero. I'm not even sure if a S.C. would be suitable for off road. Again thanks for the review and Go The Jimny!

Supercharger is only best for offroad not for on road as it always be running on high rpm because of less gears

I kinda expected and didn't expect the Jimny to be modded

Spend 2.8 lak for greddy's bolt on turbo kit and enjoy the drive also get the Bilstein shock absorbers.

Guys my suggestion try a full exhaust+ stage 2 map on etios liva d4 engine 🔥, trust me guys it will blow you up. I drive a stage 1 etios liva d4 hatch back my uncle's car & my ride is stage2 Abarth+ full custom exhaust from code 6 just bragging 😁🔥, and i don't regret it 😂

Hi, any details of the tuner and the prices?. One of the tuners had quoted 28k for stage 2, the exhaust n intake works are extra. Wonder what the differences are(except GB n turbo) between Corolla and etios diesels.

Try Code 6, there stage 2 tune along with full down pipe . I think may be less than 50k . But i recommend don't go stage 3 , because stage 3 very expensive & maintenance also expensive

Rather giving an overview of the you must do, a proper hardcore test of tuned cars and test runs like 0-100 and exhaust run. It is too boring to just listen the numbers of car

Wrong placement o2 sensor on the exhaust header. Its reading values of only one cylinder whereas the stock placement of the sensor reads values of all the 4 cylinders. This causes uneven wear of cylinders. 1.5-inch diameter exhaust tubing for a k15b is excessive. Over increasing the radius reduces the velocity of exhaust gasses exiting the pipe.

Hang on! Jimny has the same K15B 1.5NA engine as provided in SCross and Ciaz. Although, I was under the impression that only turbocharged engines have significant improvements in performance while NA engines have negligible impact. While I have 2022 model SCross, so can the same power/torque figures be achieved at my SCross as well after Stage 2 tuning?🤯

@@jalexrosh I know right! This is pretty exciting news as, usually, NA engines do not show such a response to engine tuning. Although, most Maruti Suzuki owners will also shy away from this tuning mod due to poor fuel economy figures.😅

Take it to my farm in monsoon and it wouldn’t reach since it is petrol where a diesel hatchback can make it

Didn’t enjoy driving the stock car maybe the tuned one performs better

Just cut thro' the chase n talk about the stage 2 ecu remap , cause I know it is a sham . So far in the market I only see a torqit catback exhaust that will keep your ride street legal n maybe boost the performance marginally

Sleeper car

It’s tini mini car. Looks like people have been paid for promotion. It’s not a good car to be driven on roads. Since India average speed driven is 60kmph it’s not going to make lot of difference. But it’s a really good off-roader. 2 door version is the best. Since wheel base is extended, it will certainly affect its gradeability. 90% of Indians would not go for extreme off-roading, hence better stick to brezza or similar cars for practicability. If you really need road presence, better go for Mahindra Thar. Modification 😂 you are talking about the country were the traffic police would come behind you with a blade for raising a mere 15% tint! Soon you will see jimny owners expensive imported kits rolled down the road roller . The local authorities don’t understand modifications as the matter of the fact they have never raised from the level of ambassadors and Mahindra boleros 😅

3:00 whoever cut the bumper to fit the exhaust did a shit roadside job, could not cut it neatly with symmetry and finishing off the rough edges.

why would a car enthusiast go for a naturally aspirated engine with just 130nm torque. coming to tuning there is nothing much that can be done in a naturally aspirated engine.. its better to go for a supercharge kit but then why go for all these jugaads when you can get a forced induction and direct injection engine giving you double the torque then what this car delivers and even will cost you less then this car.

Drive-ability is better , engine breathes and responds better . Sure it's not worth the lakh but it'll be way better to drive than stock and the whole behaviour will change
